We've seen SM Naruto fall into spikes during his training and he wasn't harmed by them. The only real way I can see Kimimaro doing anything is by a fast execution of bone forest. Like off the bat.

That was Part 1 Gaara, Gaara's way stronger now, and so is Naruto, especially with SM.
