The only people who don't get fodderized and die just as the fight starts is Lee and Neji, maybe Sakura, then they all proceed to get raped by final form Kakuzu with katon/fuuton.

Except for Lee who leaves to have a beer while everyone else dies because Lee is a man and doesn't lose vs fights. But yeah they all die.

Well if Kakuzu's intent is to rape he's going to have to take it easy on Sakura and Temari rather than blow them up with elemental attacks. The masks are too quick and they can fly and Kakuzu himself is extremely hard(see what I did there?). Lee would have to go 8 gates for his team to have any sort of chance.

What makes you think that Sakura will put up a better fight compared to the other three in question. I guess you could say Gaara and Kimimaro are from part 1 so they lose instantly although I don't agree with that logic but I thought we all agreed Temari>Sakura?

In any case, to hurt Kakuzu, they need raiton but since this team doesn't have it, other means of hurting him are needed. Wind Cast Net, should be able to do damage to Kakuzu IMO and so should gentle fist which should at least disable doton domu allowing regular attacks to work on him. Kakuzu's offence is hard to counter but this team should be able to counter it. Gaara's sand should effortlessly block the fire and wind combo while Temari can neutralize raiton gian with wind. Neji can protect himself and others by letting them hide behind his rotation. Rock Lee doesn't bring much to the table except he can be used as a distraction nonetheless. Kimimaro should be able to tank the pressure wind blasts as well as fire but raiton gian will most likely kill him. However, he could use his bones to cut apart any black threads that try to cut up his team mates. Sakura's role is obvious and she can restore the chakra of her team mates.

Also thanks to the stipulations in the OP, team 1 is winning with only mid difficulty.

This is current temari right?,then how many masks do you think a single kiri kiri mae can destroy?,lee can go 5 gates to blitz a mask,i dont thik gian would kill kimi in cs2,his bones resisted being cut through by samurai chakra infusd swords in base alone. He has greater taijutsu and speed stats than kakuzu,and his bone kg allows him to easily cut any threads on him.

Temari's wind cutter tech sliced through the shockwaves and winds created by the juubi,she can cur through a wind mask as well as the lightening one.

Neji can also help out to beat the masks,or stay with gaara as defensive support to block some of the masks attacks

i wonder if gaara can go shukaku?.

She probably won't, I just said maybe Sakura because...yeah, I don't know why I actually said that. Even Kimi would stand more of a chance of not getting fodderized, she dies.

I'm not sure because Kimimaro's defences pale in comparison to part 2 characters. As for kiri kiri mae, none since Kakuzu will be protected by doton domu. Agreed that Kimimaro can slice apart the black threads with his kkg and even if he can't tank gian, Temari or Neji can protect him from it or he could just dodge.

Yes the area of effect on her jutsus make her a perfect match against Kakuzu who utilizes a similar fighting style.

Gentle fist to weaken doton domu would work too but his defence is incredible so he can protect Sakura while Sakura heals him.
