Well Orochimaru did say His body was the one he desired the most, Even kabtuo said he that his clan possessed the most powerful/perfect bodies of all, which i'd assume includes all clans such as Uchiha, Uzumaki and maybe senju.

Kimimaro was a direct descendant. One could say he inherited Kaguya's Chakra in a way. This would take a detailed ass thread to explain honestly. But it can be explained.

I say that Kimimaro and his clan were descendants of Kaguya on Hamura's side. Hagormo's descendants were divided by body (Senju/Uzumaki) and eyes (Uchiha). It would makes sense if Hagormo's were also divided by body (Kaguya/Otsutsuki) and eyes (Hyuga). Hamura did inherit more Kaguya traits than his brother after all.

Kimimaro would've become a legend had he not gotten plot AIDs. But I'm kinda skeptical about him being on the level of Naruto and Sasuke. They were Transmigrants of the Sage's boys, Kimimaro is only a distant descendent of... well a goddess... but still just a distant descendent. (Meaning he has a touch of alien DNA I: ) I'd like to hear your reasoning for Kimimaro's super advanced potential if you want to shoot me a PM.

Yeah, Kimimaro's body + the Sharingan later on.. Cant imagine how great that'd be...
But with the unlimited time Orochimaru apparently has and the ever growing power and knowledge that comes with that unlimited time, the loss of Kimimaro and Sasuke will become only a slight inconvenience.

Well technically every character is related to Kaguya in some way, she is the origin of chakra, all chakra related techniques come from her, unless invented by somebody. All kkg, KKT, and kkm come from Kaguya/the Juubi
