Killzone: Shadow’s Fall has been announced a month ago, revealed together with the new Playstation 4 console during the Playstation Meeting. Apparently the game’s single player mode has been finished and all the time before the final release of the game will be used to polish the gameplay experience.
Game director Steven Ter Heide has revealed with a Twitter post today that he’s starting his Killzone: Shadow Fall campaign playthrough. When asked if the single player campaign was finished already, the game director stated that it’s been finished a couple of months back and a few playtests have already been done. He also added that the game is getting better and better, hinting that the team is polishing the game after each playtest has been completed.
Steven Ter Heide can’t wait to let players know more about the game, but more details will not be coming too soon: the game won’t be present at Game Developers Conference next week because the team is too busy to attend the event.
Killzone: Shadow Falls will be released later this year on Ps4: it’s not yet clear if the game will be available on launch day, but they assured us that it will be out before the end of the year.
