Haha, actually you can translate English to Japanese phonetically. There are a lot of words used in such a manner in the day to day Japanese language.
Octo-Bull would be translated as Okuto-Buru (オクト ブル).
The Japanese don't use the letter L, so it usually is changed to R in these kind of translations. Plus, sometimes adding a vowel is needed, because the phonetic equivalents of Katakana and Hiragana characters are not just letters (like d, f, k, m and so on) but sounds (like ma, me, ka, ta...).
Even Kirabi (キラービー) is the phonetic equivalent of Killer Bee. :izuna:
