He tech is he's apart of doffy crew no? Doffy being a warlord gets his crew protected or what ever they do is negated or something like tht so tech luffy was still fighting WG

Warlords and their crew have Former Bounties. If he has a Active Bounty hes not WG. Hes not really a part of Doffys crew, hes more like a business associate of Joker.

In Romance Dawn there were 2 types of pirates (iif I'm not mistaken) one was called PeaCe Main (peaceful ones like Shanks or Luffy) and than there were Morganeers (the selfish, nasty ones like BB)

This is what im gettin at ^^. Punching a noble isnt piracy, its breaking the law. But kidnapping an evil scientist as a way to scheme on Doffy/Kaido sounds out of Luffys character... or maybe hell be more ruthless in the new world

Law-wise is arbitrary. The people who make the law are evil and walk around with fishtanks on their head. He broke into Impel Down to save his brother from execution. Kidnapping Caesar was the first time he took a hostage for PERSONAL gain. (Take down Kaido who he has no beef with basically)

Luffy is a thug. But CD's are bad guys, so is the WG so as a protagonist, Luffy is supposed to beef with them. And Marineford was for Ace. Kidnapping Caesar is the first time Luffy did something that benefited his personal agenda to be PK
