Exactly. Piccolo's only stronger than the Android arc Super Saiyans. The Buu arc Super Saiyans would destroy him. Goten was nearly even with SSJ Gohan and Trunks was able to scratch SSJ Vegeta. Can you see Piccolo being able to perform those feats?

dbz is all about transformations since fieza saga.The only reason why piccolo could keep up with the saiyans up to the android saga was because of fuse with nail and fuse with kami that he did. When he ran out of fusions he lagged behind. If the human characters had a transformation like hyper human or something then tien could have caught up.

that doesnt change the fact that she was scared and felt it necessary to dodge the attack rather than tank it. theres no reason to think a ki blast was "impossibly strong" with a scared face if it truly wasnt any threat.

18 duelled evenly with base trunks who was taking her hits without a problem. when trunks went ssj he did a supressed casual ki blast making sure not to try and kill her, and she STILL was scared out of her mind, so much so that she ended the battle quickly
