Look to the Damage that one rasengan did when he fought Temari, he doesn't need to land it on Neji, land it on the ground next to Neji it's enought. Know think that he can use many of then with Kage Bushin. What Counter Neji have to this? I don't believe his "perfect defense" can deal with it.

Probably only 3 Gennins could deal with Konohamaru: Naruto, Sasuke and Gaara.

Lol Neji negs the moment he enter's CQC, he casually avoids all the clones while he outsmarts an kills him via 128 palms..
Kono was not more powerful than naruto who had more chakra, more unpredictability and also kcm that neji himself could keep up via shunshin blitz

Byakugan gives neji awareness to everything kono plans and his much better CQC skills easily renders him lifeless.

Kono does not have a variety of long range moves that can even force neji to kaiten an he easily closes the distance of 50m while very badly injured and a small amount of chakra from that distance was able to stunn a healthy CS2 Kido and damage his organs

Neji's rival lee would also kill kono with no problems.
