If Gaara is allowed to go full Shikkaku, he would win. I'm going to assume he aint allowed? If not, Kakashi wins both scenarios.


He rapes in scenario 2, he managed to defeat a skilled Jounin, as noted by Kakashi.

This is the same Kakashi who had White fang as his farther, the genius Minato as his sensei. The jounin he defeated was no random fodder.

Kakashi is faster, smarter, has a sharingan, better sense of smell (go read the gaiden chapters if you dont believe me lol)

Chidori settles things in scenario 2.

Oh, and Kakashi is also a beast in CQC, Chidori, skilled with a blade.....

In other words

If tailed beast full form is allowed, Gaara would win, but not with his own power lol

If it aint allowed, Kakashi wins both scenarios.

Kakashi:

• Graduated at the top of his class from the Academy at 5 (At the top of his class...at 5 years old...)
• Became a Chuunin at 6
• Became a Jounin at 13

Keep in mind that the Konoha 12 were all still Genin by the time they were 13-14. This essentially means that a 5-6 year old Kid Kakashi could beat the Konoha 12 in Part 1, minus the obvious exceptions like Kyuubi Cloak and the CS2.

From the looks of it Kid Kakashi was more talented than the Sasuke that fought Gaara in the Chuunin Exams.



If Sasuke was able to keep up with Gaara, then I think Kid Kakashi would be able to take him.
I say Kid Kakashi wins both scenarios just by his reputation up that point
