Just because someone is very happy with a character they like receiving panel time they should have had earlier in the series doesn't give you the right to criticize them over it. Let's all try to be more mature about such things.

Nope, what they should've done had Kishi made the toner for this final battle darker is had Akamaru die for Kiba. That would've officially been the first and only time Naruto would make me cry.

Kiba's character is fine and SOMEONE has to say the stupid lines. Kiba's attitude is headstrong and simple but he's very loyal and almost definitely doesn't actually mean a lot of the dumb stuff he says. He has a strong loyalty/respect for Naruto and likely doesn't actually think he himself will be the Hokage.

Having more screen time than other characters isn't necessarily a good thing.

In Kiba's case he's spent most of his war time either making pointless comments (such as the Hokage/adviser ones) or complaining.

Very few actually consider Kiba's panel time worth a mention on the positive scale.

See you make the easy mistake of failing to understand Kiba's character. I didn't like him all that much until a few months ago either to be honest. He's not meant to be a Naruto clone, they're both headstrong, brash people but Kiba has all of the personality traits and mannerisms of an actual dog himself. He's written to be loud, simple-minded and clumsy yet secretly very loyal.

Reread chapters with him in and you start to see it, he's literally a human incarnation of a dog and a very well written character, he gets stupid lines but of course he would, not everybody can be a shady, cool badass Uchiha or this empathising messiah Naruto has become y'know? To me, maturing for Kiba would just be to admit his respect for Naruto, which I think is already pretty prominent.

I've noticed this as well, And I'm very pleased. Maybe kishi is trying to build up kiba and narutos relationship more so this it's more believable if kiba takes an advisor spot. When the group was shown in the latest chapter kiba was standing right beside naruto.
