Being taken by completely surprise, Trunks stammers a bit while putting on the exercise clothes. After coercing his body into the tight, and furthermore overly revealing, suit, Trunks jumps on the ground, holding himself up with his arms and toes, and begins to do the push-ups. He counts them mentally while attempting to grasp what is going on. 4,5,6...

Hi.. My name is Trunks! 19,20,21...

I'm assuming.. You're the one teaching me hand... To hand combat? 45,46,47...

Well... I hope so anyway.. Otherwise I'm doing these for nothing.. haha. 59,60,61...

Is there something... Specific you would like to be called? 73,74,75...

Or I could just refer to you as Sensei. 85,86,87...

Just whatever you prefer. 98,99,100.

After he is done with the set, Trunks jumps back to his feet in a show of enthusiasm and energy.

Call me Hazama, no need for formalities.

You've definitely got potential there, great to see that in a young one. Well then...

*Begins jogging around the training field.

Join me, and whilst you're at it, what can you tell me about Taijutsu?

Trunks sprints to catch up to his Sensei, and slows to a jogging pace once he gets there.

Taijutsu is hand to hand combat, put in the simplest possible terms. It differs from other jutsu in that it requires little to no chakra to perform, relying solely on the users ability and strength. Because of this, it hardly ever requires hand seals, making it faster than most techniques. The downside, however, is that you usually have to be in short range to use it, making ranged attacks almost impossible.

Trunks continues to jog at the moderate pace, and awaits his Sensei's response.

Yes, there are a few different special types of Taijutsu in our RP. First, there are techniques that are restricted to only byakugan users, such as the Gentle Fist. Next, there are techniques that are only able to be used by EIG users, and that requires special permission and a battle test. Last, we have NG Restricted Taijutsu, and honestly I don't know much about this one, but I do know that it also requires a special permission.

Well done.

*Hands you some bandages.*

Wrap these around your feet, shins, fists and some of your forearm. Once done so...

*Enters a battle position infront of a thick wooden log.*

Kick.

*I focus my breathing, and times it perfect with my kick allowing maximum power to my kick, delivering a crushing kick which leaves deep impact into the thick wooden log.*

YOSH!

Do this five hundred times with your right leg, and then with your left. Focus on your breathing.

Trunks quickly wraps the bandages around his hands, feet, and limbs, then jumps into the battle position as he was shown before. He begins to repeatedly kick the log with his right leg first. He takes special note to only inhale after hitting the log, forcing his breath to exhale as he delivers each blow. These breaths turn into grunts as he continues the task, which was at first involuntary, but continued on purpose. This is because it keeps his breathing in check, and gives him a sort of tempo to keep kicking at. After a while of this he switches to his other leg and begins again.

After about 100 of these, Trunks notices that his right leg is getting weak. The run, on top of this is killing my body.. Or that is how it feels anyway. I wanted to learn hand to hand from the best though. As he think this, he starts to recall the stories of Hazama's exploits. If I want to gain that kind of strength, this is how to do it. So I must continue, no matter how bad my body wants me to stop!

Trunks continues to pound the log with his leg over and over, now with a more fierce resolve and power. As he ends the session, he begins noticing that each succeeding kick led to more and more splinters to fly off of the log, hitting Trunks and falling to the ground.

*SUmmons a dummy*

This'll be your friend for now on where you perform all your moves on him u.u Get to know him, he'll be here for a while.

Alright then, first task! One of the fundamentals of Taijutsu, an absolute game-decider.

Begin by performing the tiger hand sign, whilst running towards the back of the dummy...

And...

*cue epic music*

Stick it right up the pooper!

Trunks laughs and rubs the back of his head nervously. Whatever you say, Sensei. Trunks then takes his position about 5 meters behind the dummy and readies himself. He pushes off of the ground hard with his right foot, and forms the Tiger hand seal which he keeps close to his abdomen, at about diaphragm level. He runs as hard as he can as to build up as much momentum as possible before coming into striking distance of the dummy. Once he is in range, Trunks bends at the knees and shoots his hand seal to the dummy's bum, causing it to launch about 4 meters in the air, before hitting the ground harmlessly.

*The dummy screams in agony as he flies off into the distance* Maybe a little bit to the right next time would have been better >_>
(Sennen Goroshi) - 1000 Years Of Death
Rank:E
Type:Attack
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:N/A
Damage Points:5(apply damage cost for kunai and explosives separately if either or both are used with this jutsu)
Description:The user makes the sign of the tiger and force able punches it into the enemy's behind.

Ahh look, he's back, ready for more action! So now, this next move could be a brilliant counter-attack and that is how you're going to approach it with.

*The dummy takes a step with his left leg, so that it is in front of is right, and arms bent at the elbows, fist closed and knuckles pointing outwards, his left hand a bit in front of his right. In a simple motion, he takes another step forward, tough this time with his right, and extends his right arm outwards in an omnidirectional manner, in an attempt to throw a single jab intended to strike your jaw.*

Quick! Dodge his punch by shifting your centre of gravity, bending down on your knees and allowing his fist to pass over your head, then using the momentum gained from your bent knees, push them upwards from the ground whilst clenching your more dominant fist, taking advantage of his posture which allows an open space around his chest area, use said fist to deliver a simple yet effective punch dead centre onto his chest, sending him staggering backwards.

Trunks watches as the dummy bounces back with almost life like qualities. I want one of these.. Trunks says to himself as the dummy get's into his stance. He listens to Hazama's explanation of what he must do, and follows his directions exactly. When the dummy's first jab comes in, Trunks immediately lowers his center of gravity by dropping to his knees. Then he clinches his left hand while pushing off of the ground as hard as he can. This could ensure that not only Trunks upper body strength goes into the punch, but his lower body strength and body weight as well. Trunks aims his punch to be mostly where Hazama instructed, but not entirely. Taking advantage of the dummy's outstretched arm, Trunks lands his blow in the tendon area that connects one's arm to one's chest, just inside the armpit area. Trunks does this because not only is this a pressure point, but if done correctly, it could leave the opponent with a numb and tingling arm for a while.

The dummy flies back a few yards, but should be able to regain itself before it falls.

(Gangeki) - Rock Attack
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 10
Description: The user will strike their opponent with a strong punch to the chest

*The Dummy places both of his hands onto his chest as he staggers backwards, bending his stomach in, momentarily exposing his face as he deals with the damage dealt to him*

Don't let him rest! Take advantage of all the time you have! Let's use his Posture towards your advantage. Begin by simply running towards him, and as you draw near I want you to jump in a diagonally upwards fashion straight towards the dummy, just before you jump make sure that your more dominant leg is placed in front of your less dominant leg, push off with the latter whilst simultaneously extending the former outwards, dealing a simple but brilliant kick straight towards the dummy's face, the push of course giving you great aid with exerting greater force onto his face.

As the dummy staggers, Trunks hears his teachers words and immediately reacts by giving chase to the staggering dummy. Once he is within range, Trunks pushes off of the ground hard with his left foot while extending his right leg. He positioned the leap so that he would go straight at the dummy, starting about waist high, and the raise to his face by the end of it. Trunks' foot makes contact with the dummy's face with tremendous force, sending it back once more.

Very good u.u Keep it up
(Dainamikku Entori) - Dynamic Entry
Rank: D
Type:Attack
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:N/A
Damage Points:10
Description:A taijutsu attack were the user does a jumping kick into the opponents face.

*The Dummy falls to the ground, whereafter getting up but feeling extremely dizzy, hands hanging down their sides and head banging to his sides*

You seemed to put some work onto him, no time to rest! See this next technique is actually quite decent, because it doesn't really depend itself on the brutality of Taijutsu, but rather the elegant aspect of it. How the simplest movement can be the most effective given the right consequences, so run towards him and duck down as you approach within arm length from him, as you have ducked down spin on your axis in a counter clockwise motion whilst extending your left leg outwards, using your right leg bent at the knee as a support to help you balance your centre of gravity during the motion of your spin. Your left leg will connect with his lower body, just below the knee, and the simple momentum of your leg will cause his legs to trip up and result in him falling down onto his back.

The kick doesn't rely to deal a lot of damage, the main goal is to throw your opponent off balance, but that's the beauty of it. The opportunities that arise from the situation are endless, you can follow on with a surprise attack, stop him in his attack due to him falling down etc.

Trunks watches intensely as the dummy falls to the ground and proceeds to get back up. But as it rises, he notices that the dummy's demeanor has changed. His arms were now slumped, head to the side. Trunks immediately pushes off hard with his right foot and sprints to the dummy's position. I've dazed him! Now is my chance! As Trunks closes in, he drops by bending at the knees. He then does a full counter clockwise rotation on his right heel with his left leg extended. When the rotation nears its end, the back of Trunks' leg and foot catch the dummy's legs, and bring them forward, from beneath it. As he does this, Trunks places both hands on the ground as a brace, and lifts his left leg very high, bringing the dummy's legs with it. He regains his positioning on two legs as the dummy once again crashes to the ground.

*Crowd cheers* WHAT AN AMAZING DISPLAY!!!
(Konoha Reppū) - Leaf Gale
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points:10
Description: This technique is a good example of how even simple taijutsu can become a pre-eminently destructive, lethal technique. The attack is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body.

Run towards your dummy with all you got, so he believes that your intended attack seems to be deadly, and jump off the ground with your more dominant leg, in the process of doing so swing your less dominant leg in the opposite arc to its respective side (so if you're using your left leg, swing it to the right) To imitate a high kick, but the kick is nothing more than a phase, something that will, in a battle, catch your opponent off guard and cause his evasive margin to be heavily limited upon seeing the kick, let the kick pass by the air and using the momentum gained from the kick spin on your own axis so that your body twists in the general direction of the kick; and here is when you utilize the leg you jumped from, when your back is facing the dummy, extend said leg backwards to deal a simple mid-kick, albeit simple it's extremely powerful. Straight into the rib-cage of the dummy, sending him crashing backwards.

Trunks quickly gets back into position and listens to his teachers words carefully. Without so much as a second thought, Trunks charges in once more, giving it everything that he has. Once he is close to the dummy, he pushes off of the ground with his right leg, jumping at the dummy. Once he gets off the ground, Trunks swings his left leg across to the right, allowing the momentum to take his body and twist it around. Once he has made a complete 180, he would kick backward with his right foot, landing a devastating blow to the dummy's chest, sending him spiraling.

Brilliant stuff, we've mastered D-rank Tai now.

(Konoha Senpū) - Leaf Hurricane
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 20
Description: A taijutsu where one launches a succession of high kicks and low kicks. Firstly, the opponent's evasion margin is restrained upon seeing the high kick, thus augmenting the chances for the low kick to hit the mark connecting to the rib cage area. So originally the high kick is little more than a feint.

(Kodzuku) Punch
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 20
Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply use one of his hands to deliver a simple punch by clenching his fist and swinging his arm. The user is free to do variations of a basic frontal punch and the technique though simple, can be deadly for strong users.

(Hirateuchi) Slap
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 20
Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with an open hand, slapping him. It can also be used for defensive purposes to slap incoming limbs or weapons.

(Kikku) Kick
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 20
Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with a kick from one of his legs. He is free to choose simple variations of the kick and the stronger he is, the more dangerous the technique is.

(Fōringu Hōyō) Falling Embrace
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 20
Description: The user runs at the enemy and tackles them, slamming them into the earth.

So then, time for my second favourite ''technique'' if you'd call it that. It is essentially again, just a simple kick, but it's the timing to use this in the most perfect situation which can just devastate your opponent.

*the dummy lunges forward, throwing his right fist towards the centre of your face, attempting to hit your nose*

Ever played the game limbo? I imagine your body to be something like that, so as his punch is incoming, bend your knees and your back at the same time, not stopping the momentum from his fist but rather, allowing it to simply move above your head, and at the same time extend your right leg in an upwards direction. Your leg will shoot upwards, going above your head and striking his chin, knocking him high into the air. The main power behind this attack is allowing yourself to fall backwards, by amassing your body as a sort of spring you can amplify your power and flexibility, enabling your kick to go at a faster rate, and effectively hit your opponent when he least expects it.
