Your what? o.0

Don't worry, it's only 500 light years away.

Well, considering the theory of relativity a journey to that planet wouldnt take that long if only we could reach speed that would be close to the speed of light. In such case the journey would take "only" 1.5 years.

This is why I hate living in this era.

We're too late in history to explore any land on Earth and too early to explore any new planets.

I dont believe humanity will survive long enough to see space exploration on that scale.

Thats why we need to set colonies in our solar system as fast as possible. Not only becuase of recources, but also to assure the survival of human mankind.

Can't you imagine the drama on the shuttles, theres always going to be the douche bag that wants to take over being the boss and screws everything up.

I think that you watched too much movies. Besides, journey on Mars, even with current technology, wouldnt take that long.

There's always the hope that the planet will be destroyed before we die (or...with us dying lol) :p

ehhh 0_o? no... damn you literately have no idea about what you are talking about...

if we could move at 99,9 % of the speed of light it would take 500 years and a few weeks to get to it.... you would have to move 330 times the speed of light to be able to get to that planet in the time span of 1.5 years...
