(I use this jutsu to make a massive cloud of oil in the sky, and just as well, now the forest is on fire [the whole island] so there is light everywhere, in every direction, getting rid of your shadows.

Its a wind, so direction doesn't matter (does the wind always blow the same way?) and its not really on fire, but its carrying a large amount of flaming oil.how can u make it come from behind me and how is it flaming

shadow imitation doesnt require hand seals o.o and when i land on ur shadow u were pretty much caught with the shadow imitation @_@

It doesn't? Well, then unless the clone can get you first, I'm out. Wait! What about the flames everywhere? Wouldn't that mean there wouldn't be any shadows??

to have no shadows means that you dont exist. everything that is living has a shadow, small or big there is always a shadow.

Well, if the light from the flame doesn't illuminate the area where my shadow is, I'm out. I have no way to counter that.

u should start thinking about one. because u can start training for one when u hit 1000 post. which u already past. kg tend to help out in battles, because they are separate from the elements
