So, you'll be my first proper student as a Sensei, and since you're a Genin, that means I'll be teaching you up to D-rank Techniques.

So, since you've chosen Katon as your first element, please tell me everything you know about Katon in relation to the Naruto universe, and tell me a few things you know about fire in general.

Please give me your own knowledge; I'd rather see where you stand than have the wiki regurgitated at me.

Katon (or fire style) chakra is the basic body chakra and the most common type besides pure chakra. Katon is used to burn people and also used for feild change and distractions. Fire is made of Nitrogen and oxygen and carbon atoms. It can be hot enough to melt a stone or any type of metal. It can be huge (like a bonfire or a wildfire) or can be contained (like to cook for or to heat you up and keep you alive).

What you missed, though, was it's relation to the other elements. Fire is strong against wind due to the "fanning the flames" philosophy, and weak to water for obvious reasons.

Now, think about some qualities of fire. If you wanted to turn your chakra into fire, what aspects of it would you make your chakra mimic?

Hmm. I would make it a little more free and hotter I would also try invisioning HOW it was getting hotter so from friction.

Indeed. Fire represents energy, so a chaotic movement, and thus heat, is something you need to keep in mind.

*Hands you a slip of chakra paper.* Run your chakra through this while trying to make it hot. If done correctly, the paper will combust.


And...sorry to do this, but if you want to seek out another Sensei (though, I'd still require you drop training with me), I'd understand, as I don't think my response speed is going to increase.
