I have a couple of theroies about the kenpachis'...

One is that unohana is zarki's mom. i believe this because one we dnt know much about her pass, so the one reason she stopped fightibg is because she got pregnant with him. and because of her past and what she did she gave him up.

My friend suggested (which in this show is possible) is that zarki might be her old zanpato(spelled wrong) that she used to kill before that she got rid of. that could be why he doesnt know anything about himself or where he's from. not even his real name and how she know about his abilities.

anyway this is just a thought do let me kno with u think. if u gonna troll then dnt even comment.

The only thing that doesn't make sense about this theory is why would she have fought him in the past? If she decided to change her ways because of him, then it wouldn't make sense for her to try and kill him later on.

I kind of like the Zanpaktou idea, but it depends on how that would all play out. I could see it bye Zaraki "dying" means he will once again become her true Zanpaktou. But I actually like him as a character and don't necessarily want that to happen.

Or Unohana was responsible for killing Yachiru's family and maybe seeing Yachiru left alone and helpless made Unohana want to change.

That's true, but not for everyone. There are also pure-blooded Shinigamis who are born in Soul Society. Take the Noble Houses for example.
