basicall kenjutsu means sword techniques and its the study and mastery of the skill of sword-fighting.it also involves conditioning the body to perform swift movements that this style consist of and also becoming one with a blade of choice(not literallyxd)

Hm.

Well, I'm not sure if you know this, but if you do not respect the sword you wield, then you are not fit to wield one. We are taught to think of our blades not as weapons, but as an extension of our very soul. Mnay people have their own definitions as to what Kenjutsu is, but a simple universal truth remains; Kenjutsu is the Art of the Sword.

So, begin thinking of your blade as an extension of yourself, not as a mere weapon.

Any Questions?

am guessing a one handed slash is less powerful than a two handed one...thats the only thing i can think of now
Well a One-Handed Slash is not only weaker, but it isn't as fast, however it does offer maneuverability and is easy to chain attacks after. A Two-Handed Slash is faster because of the extra force carried behind the blade, however it is hard to chain attacks after a Two-Handed slash as as it offering less maneuverability.

Good?

ok, using 2 hands makes a slash quicker but less flexible and using one hand is relatively slower but gives chance for combo slashes....am good

Yes.

Now, since we just differentiated between a One-Handed and Two-Handed Slash, could you please demonstrate for me a One-Handed Horizontal Slash?

Horizontal slashes go along the x axis or look like this (___)
