Well i want to learn kenjutsu so that i can have great mastery of a sword, for example kisame is one of my favorite swordsman of naruto, and i would like to have that bio some day in my Rp career. I intend to use the art of kenjutsu when in close combat, especially against samurais

lol basically kenjutsu is a fighting style used through the ways of katanas, swords or similar weapons. Master of these techniques are call swordsmman/men.

well it pertains to techniques that entail the use of swords, whether the users be shinobi or samurai. Kenjutsu can be used in combination with taijutsu, ninjutsu, chakra flow and even genjutsu (like the b rank one that lets the enemy see the user swaying his hand back and forth) in order to achieve more devastating techniques.

Well the most commonly used sword is the katana,so thats most likely it @[email protected] why dont you tell me abit about the following slashes:
•Horizontal
•Vertical
•Diagonal
•Thrust

Horizontal- Are slashes made from left to right, or right to left
Vertical- Are slashes made from down to up, or up to down
Diagonal- Are slashes that go in the direction of a 45 degree angle, or half a X or / and \
Thrust- Are forward attacks, or piercing attacks

(Ken Rendan no Jutsu) - Sword Barrage Technique

Description: With this technique, the user will make a sequence of slashes with their sword and finishes with a powerful final slash dealing liberal damage to their enemy.

Alright here is the first technique,this technique is a very useful one as well.At first glance it looks average but for someone like you,this would give you the upper hand in freeform as in freeform you can easily counter the target etc,but with this if the target wants to get out of it he either has to have good descriptions to avoid the technique or most do the "most counter a jutsu with a jutsu" gimick forcing him to attack.None the less it is performed by simply taking your sword and striking the target several times before dealing a final liberal slash,but the hint in the technique is it never states that it requires a "specific amount of slashes" so you could do 30-70 slashes with this one technique alone which again is where your imagination and description comes into play.

How is it performed? Basically this technique is used by the user in short range of the enemy, and with the use of his sword he can deliver a series of slashes or strikes all over the enemy's body, any amount actually. Then with the final blow, or slash you do one strong slash, potentially killing the enemy.
Showcase of usage in a combo With the final slash, you can channel your lighting chakara into the sword for a more stronger final slash, or with the final one, you give the enemy a vertical up to down slash, and with that you go down to the ground at the same time and kick him airborne, where you can bring him down back with the sword in his stomach or chest to the ground.

(Ikari Nomikomu no Jutsu) - Fury Swallow Technique

Description: The user punches the opponent a few times and finishes them with two final slashes with their blade or sword.

Here is the second technique,its pretty much like the first one except your starting with a punch,usually a straight jab the you do a few slashes and end with two lethal slashes.
