(Ken Rendan no Jutsu) - Sword Barrage Technique
Strong points
- Several fast slashes can be dealt in little amounts of time.
- Even if dodged, the user can make use of this technique and preventing the foe from entering their personal space.
- Being a rather simple technique, it can be used in most scenarios and can be very unpredictable.
Weak points
- They're regular sword slashes, thus, the damage is minimum.
- The final and strongest slash cannot be dealt until the target is hit by previous slightly weaker attacks.
- Cliche response, but being kenjutsu. It's range is resticted.
Combinations- strategies: Can be mixed with Taijutsu techniques that involve kicks, to further improve the offensive skills of the user.
Ways to counter this technique: Step out of range of the sword, or simply make the opponent retreat.
Swiftly grabbing the sword at my waist. I move torwards a training dummy that suddenly appeared. And begin to slash it from numerous angles, in various formations. Including left to right, diagonal, and vertical slashes. Then placing the weight of my body onto my sword, yet holding it gracefully, without too much grip. Dealing a powerful slash across the dummy, regarded as the final and finishing blow.
(Ikari Nomikomu no Jutsu) - Fury Swallow Technique
Strong points
- The technique is not restricted to the sword, as it allows the usage of fists aswell.
- Depending on where the punches land, the user can very well leave the target open for a finishing slash.
- Slashing the area in which the user previously punched the enemy is a useful tatic. Due to increasing the pain in the effected area.
Weak points
- The user must land several punches prior slashing the opponent. Otherwise making the technique useless.
- Simple punches can be blocked with bare palms and easily counter-attacked.
- There are timing openings in between the punches and slashes. In which the target can interrupt the user's technique and take the offensive.
Combinations-strategies: Can be combined by chakra enchanced punches to further aid the opening blows, prior then slashing the opponent. Making the sword attack all that more hard to counter.
Ways to counter this technique: Simply blocking the first incoming punch, and then kicking them away by pushing them with the sole of the foot into their stomach. Successfully, avoiding the future sword slashes, and wideing the distance of the opponent at the same time.
I firstly take a shoulder length footing and then throw a quick right jab at the dummy's face. Retracting my arm then torwards my waist, I throw another punch, this time with my left hand. At the dummy's cheek, making it's head tilt backwards - while at the same time grabbing my sword with my right hand and slashing it's chest wide open. Following with a second slash this time on their right shoulder, coming from above and descending.
