Gambit stands in front of his students. He notices some familiar faces and some he doesn't know.
"Thank you for being here with me. My name is Gambit, some of yall know me by other names but that is for another day. This here is the kenjutsu part of the training. Here you will learn more than jutsus. You will learn to be more detailed in your description of what you are doing in sword combat battle or just battling period. Now first off is learning to understand the body and the sword what it can or cannot do. Kenjutsu is the usage of your body with the sword in any motion you can think of. You can slash someone in multiple ways and hit them with the hilt of the sword afterwards. Kenjutsu and close range battling period is all about imaging you are actually doing the movements yourself and how to defend against movements also. Now during training I would like any questions no matter if it was asked already and you don't understand the answer so I can answer it in more depth if you like. Kenjutsu you can use chakra to your sword or just the strength of your body its self to land more powerful or faster slashes or stabs."
Gambit takes out a scroll and throws up the scroll into the rainy sky and claps his hands together as if he was praying. The scroll explodes and releases out a white thick smoke. The students can hear metal hitting each other and stabbing into the ground. The white smoke clear and around the students are seen swords and katanas of different shapes and colors.
This here is my personal arsenal of katanas and swords. Now pick one of them.

Tetsu simply stands where he is, unmoving.
"Already got one"
He says, pointing with his thumb to the Kumogakure Longsword he has sheathed on his back
"Also, question. I've already had some kenjutsu training, just up to D-rank jutsu and in how to utilize my blade properly. Is it alright if I sit out until everyone catches up?"

Suzaku waits for everyone to select a blade first, then he steps forward and selects the most basic looking blade to him. After all, kenjutsu wasn't about being flashy. He smirks as the others wait wide eyed. "This will do..."
