I don't really have a stance, but I like the one-handed grip of a ninjatō and from what I read, I favor the Kendo: Gedan stance: "appearing as a defensive posture, but instead it is used to deflect blows and create striking opportunities."
I want say it has a disadvantage or advantage and can't compare to the others. I took on this stance to because it describes me personally, I guess, and I feel more comfortable with this stance (if used in RL).
Its like a neutral stance for me: being able to defend and attack at moments notice. And It confuses my opponent to think my guard is down. My feet position is placed so that I am flexible to maneuver against attacks.
Hmm I agree with you on those, but anyway. Well then lets move on to the next topic: Sword Swing Paths. Can you give me the basic ones along with some advantages and disadvantages to each one? Ill go a little more in depth afterwards
About this disadvantages and advantages thing: I think it is more to it than just that. I mean it depends on discerning the opponent moments and position of the sword for an accurate strike. Factors include terrain, weather, conditions of both the opponent and sword wielder. Furthermore, your body has to be mentally and physically fit to handle the sword and it has a lot do with transfer of weight. All you would be doing to counter is parrying (clashing of swords) and finding a opening to strike.
Striking Attacks
Slash - a left or right (diagonal) cut
Cut - right to left or left to right (horizontal) cut; up or down (vertical) cut
Overhead - striking down on the target's head
Thrust - advancing forward with the point of the blade lunge in a specific direction.
Hilt - using the hilt of the blade to strike the target
Hmm no exactly what I asked for but close! They are : Horizontal , Vertical , Diagonal and Thrust. Tell me if you can find some advantages to each one, as well as disadvantages
I have no clue either. Let's just skip to the techniques xD.(Ken Rendan no Jutsu) - Sword Barrage Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: With this technique, the user will make a sequence of slashes with their sword and finishes with a powerful final slash dealing liberal damage to their enemy.
For your first technique, I want you to hit me with a sequence of slashes using your blade, before ending the frenzy with a final slash to my neck. Fear not, I'm going to keep my skin hardened throughout the usage of your technique, so I won't feel a thing. To give some realism, I'm going to feign pain and pretend that each of your hits have an effect on me.
Key Points: Despite the simplicity of my explanation, you must fill in the blanks so to say. Specify which hand you wield the blade with, the direction of the slashes (don't have to specify for random slashes and frenzies) and so on.
(Ikari Nomikomu no Jutsu) - Fury Swallow Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: The user punches the opponent a few times and finishes them with two final slashes with their blade or sword.
In quick succession, you will then punch me a few times before finishing with two final slashes with your sword, aiming them to deal fatal damage. As with before, be specific in the way you punch e.g. is it a frontal punch or not ? What location are the punches aimed towards and what effect do you seek to achieve with them? Where are the final two slashes aimed towards? Yeah, you get the idea.
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10

Description: With this technique, the user will make a sequence of slashes with their sword and finishes with a powerful final slash dealing liberal damage to their enemy.
Dodai springs forward (with his left foot forward and right foot in back) wielding his katana in his right hand. He loosely holds the blade in a two-hand grip as he prepares to strike. He swiftly motion his blade upward over his right shoulder and swung diagonally across Kakuzu's left shoulder and then drawing across Kakuzu's chest. Instead of pulling away, Dodai continued the momentum, while moving to motion the blade across his left shoulder (with his right foot forward) and swing diagonally across Kakuzu's right shoulder and then drawing across Kakuzu's chest once more. The violent strikes continued as Dodai unleash a volley of slashes. His finish the onslaught of attacks with one last slash which he griped his blade and press the blade deep into Kakuzu skin, cutting through flesh, delivering a deep wound.
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: The user punches the opponent a few times and finishes them with two final slashes with their blade or sword.
Dodai launches forward (with his katana in his right hand - in a one-hand grip), while extending his left arm, ready to jab Kakuzu. The force of the Dodai's punch - when it impact with the right side of Kakuzu's face - pushed him backwards off balance. However, the force was not significant enough to knock Kakuzu off balance - so Dodai punch him again. Succeeding with his punch combo, Dodai followed up with a finial slash which swung diagonal from Kakuzu's right shoulder and glided across his chest. Griping his blade, Dodai pressed his blade to cut though his flesh, delivering a deep wound.
Question: Chakra Cost? Is that only if I channel chakra into my sword?
These techniques require updates. They shouldn't have a chakra cost.Just as I expected of you, make sure to invest that much effort and concentration in all of the techniques you perform. You will gain much more of this training session that way.
( Enjin Ranbu ) - Circular Wild Dance
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 25
Description: The user spins with his tantō, hitting the target several times.
Now, I'd like you to spin in the clockwise motion on the spot, striking me with his tanto with each successive revolution, making sure to target a new location with every spin. You will do this a total of five times. You have freedom of choice to choose the locations you strike, but the fifth and final strike must be aimed towards underneath my chin, sending me up into the air and setting up for your next technique usage.
( Rakkasui ) - Falling Water
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 25
Description: The user will drop down upon the opponent from mid air pointing their sword downwards and drilling it down into the opponent.
While I'm airborne, you will jump up and pursue me, quickly overtaking my position before unsheathing your blade once more. Point your blade down towards me, before striking me with it and drilling me back towards the ground, spinning as you do this to mimic the exact motion of a "drill". Normally, your rotary motion would cause the opponent's body to spin also (since your sword would be lodged in their body) causing them to become disorientated even before they collide with the rock hard ground.
Dodai bend his elbow at 45 degrees and extends his blade outward, while gripping it in a reverse-grip - in his right hand. He pivot his hip (shifting it to the left), while turning his body counter-clockwise. Keeping his feet together, he pushed off his right foot and begin twirling on the balls of his feet. He arms was used to gradually gain momentum as he rotated. Looking forward, he finds himself in a good position and length to strike Kakuzu. With his blade in reach, he delivered horizontal cuts to Kakuzu's midsection. He adjusted his elbow level to rise his blade to focus on his chest, slowly reaching to his chin. Angling his blade just right, Dodai marked Kakuzu's chin, then pulled away. The sting of his blade would have caused Kakuzu to recoil slightly in mid-air. Dodai wasted no time for the opportunity to gain a foothold for another assault.
Kakuzu shorts moments in mid-air was soon shattered by Dodai as he quickly leaped (pushing upward on his right leg), with a two-hand grip on his blade, to overshadowed Kakuzu's position - so that he can strike him from above. Over-top of Kakuzu, Dodai motion his blade downward so that the point of the blade was used to penetrate his right shoulder. To increase penetration, Dodai rotated the blade to drill a hole through his flesh. Dodai felled into the strike, falling down with Kakuzu as he met the solid ground.

I was trying to combine them, but I didn't know how to add the spin in there for Rakkasui (Falling Water Technique). I didn't know if I had to spin or the point of the blade cause an perforation in the skin as it said "drilling it down". It referring to the blade.
Its fine, I'm fairly certain that's how the technique works.Even better, it seems Kenjutsu may be your calling. Just to clarify, I'm going to refer to myself as the "opponent" or "enemy". You will still be performing this jutsus on me.
(Bakuchi Tori Kuzu Oujou) – Gambling Bird Arrowroot Death
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user bolts in front of the enemy who they then strike with their sword handle before delivering several kicks that sends the enemy into the air. The user then bolts across to the far off location of the enemy who they then punch violently into an obstacle.
Alright, this Kenjutsu will not involve the use of your blade, substituting its usage with hits dealt with the handle. I want you to utilize your chakra to bolt in front of the enemy, before striking them with the hilt of your sword. After doing so, deal several upward kicks to your opponent, sending them high into the air but also horizontally backwards. Whilst they're airborne, dash directly forwards (to the location they're about to land) and intercept them as they fall, punching them violently into a nearby obstacle or part of the terrain e.g. a boulder or tree.
Key Points: None.
(Rensei Shinkuken) – Drilling Crimson Blade
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user takes out their blade and channels chakra into it. They then run towards the opponent, slashing them upwards into the air and then appear above him/her, and deliver a sharp, drilling slash down upon them, impelling them into the ground.
For this next technique, I want you to focus chakra into your blade before dashing towards the opponent and dealing an upward slash to their chest region, using the force behind the slash to send them into the air. After doing so, "appear" above and behind them, using your blade to deal a deadly drilling-type slash into their back, impaling and knocking them back towards the ground.
Dodai charges forward and thrust his hilt into Kakuzu's gut. The force of the impact cause Kakuzu to bend and lean forward, gasping for air. Whilst stun from the attack, Dodai followed up with another attack, while pulling back his blade, and stepping with his left foot in front of himself and kicking forward, to deliver a jaw breaking high kick to Kakuzu. The kick forced Kakuzu into mid-air, where he suspended for several seconds. Having multiple openings, Dodai sheath his blade and bolts with incredible speed to deliver a right hook - aimed at Kakuzu's chin, causing Kakuzu to be pushed backwards from the impact, plowing into a rock that sits behind him.

Dodai - in a two-hand grip - channels chakra in his blade. He then sprints towards Kakuzu - having the point of his blade turn downwards (in his right hand - in a reverse grip) - and then swings the blade upward, curving it at 270 degrees, and slashing through the chest up to the shoulder, which was able to cut through flesh, causing Kakuzu to recoil in mid-air. After which, Dodai would push on his right foot to make a speedy approach from above to overshadowed Kakuzu. In mid-air, Dodai - in a two-handed grip - will rise his blade up to cut down, striking with a sharp and powerful blow to Kakuzu's torso. The impact of the strike would cause Kakuzu to crash down to the earth and deal a another deep wound from his chakra-infused blade.

Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user does a simple cresent-shaped slash at the opponent, expelling a red chakra wave.
Unlike the previous techniques, these two will be focused around manifesting a lumnious coating of raw chakra over your sword to either fire off as a projectile or augment your sword slashes. Now, tighten your grip over the hilt of your sword and begin focusing your chakra into it, before slashing the air in a crescent-like shape to release the built chakra as a red wave of pure chakra in my direction.
Key Points: I'm unsure if this red chakra wave can be stopped with elemental techniques, so stick to avoiding it for now. I'll try to find out for you.
(Chakura Bōsekiken) - Chakra Spinning Blade
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will channel chakra into their sword making it glow blue and then jumping into the air they spin at a rapid rate creating a spinning circle and cutting through the enemy target.
Similar to the previous technique, I want you to focus your chakra into your sword, this time causing it to glow blue instead of a luminous scarlet. After stabilizing the coating of chakra, jump into the air and begin spinning at a rapid rate in a circular motion, whilst outstretching your sword to maximize its radial reach. Slash me as many times as possible in the interval of 10 seconds. This will depend on the speed of your spinning, the faster you spin, the more potential hits you can get in with your sword.
Dodai concentrated and channel his chakra into his blade, while holding the sword (position upwards) out in front of him, elevated at chest level (with both his elbows slightly bent). Then, Dodai tighten the grip of his hilt on the blade, while motioning the sword up, and begin swifly swinging the blade in a diagonal, sweeping movement, while releasing an crescent-shape chakra wave. The chakra wave glowed red in color and was sent on a forward course to strike Kazuku. It would impact Kazuku, resulting damage to his torso. It would cause a fatal injury and leave a large and deep cut mark on Kazuku's chest.

Dodai concentrated and channel chakra into his blade (wield in his right hand) and then leaped into mid-air. Once in mid-air, he quickly and rapidly whirled around, while directing the gyration to collide with Kakuzu. All the while, Dodai simultaneously - in a reverse-grip - motioning his blade outward (extending his reach) to strike Kakuzu. The fast turning would cause him to deal multiple strikes at quick successions. Although, depending on his reach, the tip or elevation of the blade, and Kakuzu's position, resulting damage could result from minor to fatal cut wounds over the upper body.

I apologize for the inactivity/late replies. Yes, that will do. For these final two techniques, we will be dealing with electrical currents. One with allow you to imbue your sword with lightning chakra, the other will allow you to divert unfocused currents of electricity into the ground.
(Kusanagi no Tsurugi: Chidorigatana) - Grass Cutter Sword: One Thousand Birds Katana
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user flows Chidori current through a katana in manner similar to flying swallow technique. The Radiating and chirping blade can easily cut through steel. Furthermore, the body of the person cut by the sword goes numb, taking away their freedom of movement.
For this first technique, I want you to grip the hilt of your sword tightly to prepare yourself for this jutsu. Lightning is wild and unpredictable element, which is why it must be used with great caution. Envision the nature of lightning, the sporadic nature of its movements, its ability to numb/paralyze on contact and the way it conducts along metals. Focus your raiton chakra into your blade, attempting to stabilize a steady current of lightning which produces the distinct sound of chirping birds. Instead of performing this jutsu on me, I'd like you to have a sword fight with my clone. When you feel the time is right, initiate this technique without any warning to cut through his steel blade, allowing you to land a fatal blow.
Key Points: This isn't considered an elemental technique, however it does have a elemental counterpart.
( Kenjutsu: Hirashin ) - Sword Technique: Lightning Rod
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user by use of a sword can use it as a rod to attract lightning currents that are channeled into the user from opponents attacks and by pointing the tip of the blade into the ground the user is then able to dispel the lightning charge nullifing the effects of paralysis. However this only works on free flowing lightning based techniques such as the Chidori current and not on focused lightning based techniques
Noticing his blade being broken, as a last resort, my clone will release a unfocused current of electricity from his body, attempting to paralyze you with it so to stop your sword strike. In response to this, cease the flow of lightning to your blade and instead, point it towards the floor and stab the tip into the ground (to ensure conduction). Use your chakra to calmly divert the unfocused current of lightning through your body and straight into the ground, stopping any and all harm from coming to yourself.
Key Points: By far my most favourite/most used Kenjutsu techniques. I don't enter short range without my sword sheathed. Close combat is a dying art, so this jutsu is a useful tool for anyone who likes Taijutsu/Kenjutsu.
(Kusanagi no Tsurugi: Chidorigatana) - Grass Cutter Sword: One Thousand Birds Katana
Dodai - in a two hand grip - held his blade extended upward and out in front of himself. He commence channeling his lightning-based chakra into the blade, changing it into electricity. Then, he engage within sword fighting with Kakuzu, whereas they parry each-other swings. Soon they clash, locking blades. However, since Dodai charge his sword with electricity, he was able to end the deadlock by cutting through the steel of Kakuzu's blade.
( Kenjutsu: Hirashin ) - Sword Technique: Lightning Rod
As Dodai is about to be subdued by electricity (cast by Kakuzu), he withdraw his sword from the sheath, and lunge the blade upside down into the ground, which portrayed his sword as a electrical-ground, causing the electricity that was discharge throughout his body to flow underground.
