Yooooo! That sig is too fkn dope.I generally don't like listening to Kendrick. His rapping style tends to hurt my ears. I do read his lyrics though, he is very good, would beat drake lyrically. I would still listen to drake as its bound to be a banger. Love drake.

OT: Kendrick wins in a rap battle, but I rather listen to Drake any day. He has more relatable lyrics, his music sounds way more appealing, and you can actually turn up/vibe to it without falling asleep (@ TPAB).
Right? Even then, it's sad in itself that that's a priority. You can only turn up/vibe to trap beats? Not to funky ass beats? I feel for you fam.
Does Drake only rap/sing over trap beats? Generally, no. Likewise. You can only turn up/vibe to trap beats? Not to funky ass beats? I feel for you fam.
What was wrong with the beats on To Pimp A Butterfly? O_O Yeah, none of them were particularly poppy, but they were all extremely good (i.e. Institutionalized, These Walls, Alright, The Blacker The Berry, etc.).Yooooo! That sig is too fkn dope.

Drake is only relatable fr fr because he raps about what people think they want out of love. The whole being rich and famous and sleeping around thing is what a lot of fans would love to be able to claim for themselves. What was wrong with the beats on To Pimp A Butterfly? And relation is a point-of-view. Not everyone shares Drake's lifestyle or romantic history. Kendrick might not be visibly relatable only cause he raps about larger issues and not just personal things. I'm neither black nor living in any form of poverty, but I could vibe with the messages running throughout TPAB all day.
The whole jazz sound just wasn't appealing to me. The beats, production, Kendricks sound... Didn't feel it. I respect Kendrick, and the messages he conveyed (Mortal Man is amazing), but I simply couldn't relate to it. If it doesn't A) Sound appealing, or B) Relate to me, then I'm not going to enjoy it, or feel the urge to listen to it under any occasion. What was wrong with the beats on To Pimp A Butterfly? Send me a text of a Drake's song where he speaks about any other thing than "being the plug", jumpman shit or about him crying over his ex girls ?The whole jazz sound just wasn't appealing to me. Correct, and Drake talks about things in the sense that everyone can relate to, regardless of setting or surrounding environment. Family issues, friend issues, social issues, relationship issues, heart break, etc. He mentions things that I directly go through, or have gone through. Not only that, he does it while making it sound appealing to me. As I already stated, Kendrick doesn't always do that for me. And yeah, he often boasts about his lavish lifestyle... And? Either you enjoy it or you don't. Don't be a complete lame over it, as if there is some written rule stating music has to meet Kendrick's criteria. That was a general statement, btw. Drakes music is fun, man. He has material for every occasion. To me, that's the most important aspect of it. Not everyone is trying to hear some political subject matter when they want to vibe out.
You're dense. Drake is relatable because he talks about trash. Texting, love, all that bull crap. Drake is a POP rapper. I hope someone hits you with a book on the head so you could understand me.The whole jazz sound just wasn't appealing to me. The beats, production, Kendricks sound... Didn't feel it. There are plenty.Send me a text of a Drake's song where he speaks about any other thing than "being the plug", jumpman shit or about him crying over his ex girls ?
Lmao @ bold. So you shouldn't listen to Kendrick if you want to enjoy the music? Makes sense. You also lack reading comprehension, but then again, you come off as a 12 year old. Go debate with Spongebob, bruh. You're dense. Drake is relatable because he talks about trash. Texting, love, all that bull crap. Drake is a POP rapper. Kendrick talks about important things such as empowerment of the african youth etc.
You make it seem like not many people can relate to it. But that's just you. In reality a lot of mature people enjoy his message.
If you listen to music just to get some enjoyment out of it then you shouldn't be listening to Kendrick.
What are you smoking. Like seriouslyKid? I'll be 29 in 5 months. I'm a highly successful individual with a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Sociology. Please, learn who you're talking to before you spout your ignorance.
And yes. Kendrick Lamar is pure trash. How old are you? Were you even alive or around when music was ACTUALLY good? NAS. Rakim. Kool G. Biggie. BDK. KRS. Pac. NWA.
As I previously said . . . Send me that text then. There are plenty.
