*Kimimaro takes his sword and moves it gently infront of him and reflects the sun rays with his sword in such way that they would blind his opponent. As it's a natural reaction to close your eyes once strong light is directed in them, you would do so, giving Kimimaro to strike at that short window of time with a two handed diagonal slash motion from left to right, cutting through your right shoulder and going down to the abdomen.*

Being proficient in kenjutsu, Kurogane knows that his opponent is trying to blind him, but instead of closing his eyes, he bends his left arm over his eyes in a way that he can only see the ground. This puts the sword in his left hand over his right shoulder. He waits until the last minute, and as soon as you perform your two handed diagonal slash from the left, he simply arc-steps to the left and ends up beside you, dodging you attack. Now beside you, i do a simple horizontal slash with the sword that was over my right shoulder.

*As you arc-step and appear on my right side, I immediately spin my body at right so that I am now facing you, just to see you performing a horizontal slash motion at me. As you do so I step backwards and dash a bit to avoid the hit, and as your sword misses and you are now wide open with your hands widely spread, I step forward while performing a one handed (right) thrusting motion aimed at your heart.*

*Seeing you begins your thrust, Kurogane simply side-steps to the right. Since you missed your thrust, you're now wide open. Kurogane uses this oppertunity to shraply swing his sword towards your neck, but stops just before making contact*

*As Kimimaro is performing his thrust, he sees his opponent side step and perform a slash motion aimed at his neck. This was it. There was no time to avoid in time; he underestimated his old friend once again. Seeing with his peripheral vision the slowrd coming closer and closer, Kimimaro even tough he could duck, erupt bones from the neck or anything else he could have come up to survive, simply closed his eyes, awaiting to be struck by the sword. He was not worthy of battling against this particular opponent. A moment later, to his great surprise, the blade was stopped right before it reaches Kimiamro's neck. He quickly pushed the sword away and jumped back a few meters, seeing his old friend smiling at him.*

"You should have killed me mate when you had the chance. Now you know I won't make the same mistake twice! Let's stop fooling around now, shall we?"​

*Kurogane takes three quick steps forward, and quickly cuts upward with his right sword in a diagonal motion, swinging it sword from the lower left to upper right, in a rising slash across Kimimaro's abdomen, ending the cut just below his left shoulder*
