Kekkei genkai(Blood-line Limit)

A Kekkei genkai are abilities passed down genetically in specific clans. It's possible for a ninja to have more than one of these abilities, usually dojutsu (Rinnegan, Sharigan and Byakugan).
Other kekkei genkai include mixing one type of elemental chakra with another, creating a new one unique to the users, which is usually impossible for normal ninja.

My question is since everyone usually has two or more chakra natures then why can't they do a KG. It can't be because of blood line, b/c everyone is using lava release and I doubt there all related. For a ninja like Kakuzu who holds all the elements I understand he can't do it cuz those elements he stole.

For a ninja like Kakashi whose elements are Lightning, water and earth what is stopping him from having more KGs. He should be able to have Storm release (lightning and Water) and wood (Earth and water) plus his sharigan

doesnt always work that way. some people have to be able to naturally use and be able to combine the elements, that's why kekkei genkai are not something everyone can just develop. also, kakashi has only one element. he just copied the jutsu of other elements

For Kakashi, he can only copy techniques that have his chakra affinty, which are Lightning, Water and Earth. If he could copy any jutsu no matter the affinty then he should have learned all the elements and not those three

Because you need the ability to use both element's at once which is apparently not easy. Probably in the past some people trained hard and some of them succeeded in mixing two element's into one creating something new. Some probably were just born exceptional and were able to use it, then spread their genes on.
And I would add, if you mix earth and water together, you won't nessesarily get wood, you could get other things-- mud or whatever, so it is not so easy.

fail, you can't copy elements, Kakashi is just being awesome with 4 elements

Having the element ability to do different elements is completely different then combining two or more of them to create a whole new element. If that was the case, almost everyone in the ninja world would have a Kekkai Genkai.

I was under the impression that Kakashi could copy just about any technique as long as it didnt involve a kekkai genkai. He has used all the different elements, but he seems incapable of simply learning a lot of techniques.

And its like having sodium and chlorine, put them together and nothing really happens, a kekkai genkai is like a catalyser, it makes the reaction happen.

Ok, the original quetion was kinda answered... it requires skill and natural talents so to say...

Now i was thinking, you have to use 2 elements at the same time right? like looking left and right at the same time... i wonder if Naruto had mastered a second element, would he be able to use his clones to make a kekegeknai? by having 1 clone use wind while he uses the other? i don't mean 2 jutsus and use them together like he did with yamato (although that would be cool too) but to use the clone for 1 jutsu like he does with rasengan. could he do it?

Yes, Kekkei Genkai are genetic abilities, but that doesn't mean it's always passed down through blood. The Youton is a prime example. People from different villages seemingly have this Kekkei Genkai.

Kekkei Genkai are abilities in your genes. This can mean people from those villages could have had a mutation and acquired the ability from birth. In other word, they were born with that ability.

People can't just fuse two element because they have them. I can't tell you how many times I've facepalmed myself for people who think this. You have to be born with that power, not learn it.
