If that's how you spell it.
So I'm just now beginning to finally understand the concept of it (I'm late, I know), so let me try to exaplin this and understand if I got it right...

So, somebodies 'nature' is the element out of all 5 that they use, right? And the term 'release' (like water release: water dragon) is the act of them releasing/PERFORMING one of those nature's, right?

So if I'm not mistaken... a KG is just the result of fusing those to create a unique nature.. right?
Examples- Haku's ice mirror. You would refer to ice as a KG, right? Just like Yamato's wood release?

All answers and responses appreciated.

That's more or less it. Glad you figured it out, I guess.

Correct, but some Kekkei Genkai are hidden jutsu such as the gentle fist or Shadow possession jutsu; also some Kekkei Genkai aren't necessarily based on chakra nature mixture such as Kimimaro's bones, or the Byakugan and Sharingan.

This, I don't understand... if a KG is the result of the fusion of 2 of those natures, than what are hidden jutsu like GF/SP the result of? SP seems like a combo of earth and wind, and GF sounds like wind, but what other nature can it be?

And as for the second part, then why would Kimi's bones be called a KG then? Wouldn't it make more sense if it were just classified as another type of hidden jutsu? And I thought that Sharingan and Byakugan were 'Doujutsu' (or something like that)

So many questions..

Ok, an elemental Kekkei Genkai is a mix between two elemental chakra natures, right? There are also some Kekkei Genkai, also called Hiden techniques, where you need to be part of a certain clan, and you don't need elemental types, such as Shikamaru's Shadow techniques. There are also some which you need to be from a certain clan, and also need to have a Kekkei Genkai. For sharingan, you need to be part of the Uchiha clan. Also most of the Uchihas have Fire Release. Byakugan you need to be part of the Hyga clan. Rinengan, you need Sharingan and to be from the Senju clan. So you only need elemental chakra for some Kekkei Genkais, like Lava is a mixture of Earth and Fire.

For your second question, it is called a Kekkei Genkai because you need to be from a specific clan to use it. No it wouldn't make more sense because then any random shinobi can use it, which they can't. Sharingan and Byakugan are both Dojutsu and Kekkei Genkai, much like Sage Art: Goemen is a collaboration jutsu and ninjutsu.
