Kekkai Genkai. Those eyes are overrated

This started because I said kakashi>Obito if they both lose kumui and many responses were "he has the rinnegan." Lets forget about obito and kakashi for a moment. I feel that people feel because you have an eye you suddenly can't be touched. Dude its an eye. Don't get me wrong they can be very helpful and make the user strong but we have examples of these ppl getting beat by others without the eyes. Naruto beat neji who had the Byakugan, Naruto beat Pain and finished him with a regular rasengan. lol. yet pain had the rinnegan in both eyes, minato beat obito, EMS madara was defeated, tobirama killed izuna, finally didn't naruto kinda blast five tailed beasts who possesed the rinnegan. so when did the kekkai genkai mean you can't lose? They can help drastically but when I say for example Kakashi>Obito just saying "rinnegan!" does not prove your point. (This is not a kakashi obito thread please focus comments on kekkei genkai being overrated). Im open to your thoughts

Not all KKG are doujutsu but I agree for the most part I mean Minato had no KKG (that we know of anyways) and he still was a splendid shinobi (yes I said splendid shinobi)

Sasuke didn't beat Naruto in the first fight. They both had equal opportunity to attack each other but Naruto chose to simply scratch Sasuke's headband while he could have seriously wounded him.

Exactly and to the main point I just want to know why people all of a sudden think these kekkei genkai make you invincible. They refuse to be open to the possibility of them being beat because of a rinnegan or ms sharingan

I agree. I remember how so many users were trying to deny the senju clan being able to beat uchiha. Just because you have a sharingan doesn't mean you can't lose to someone without any special technique.

Gaining Amaterasu alone makes you able to be about 90% of the NV since it's so ridiculously overpowered, All you need to do is look at them and they're dead.

There's KKGs Giving you the edge over your opponent but then there's just handing you the win.

I agree with your post. You actually gave an ability and I agree it does help but some people wont for example if I were to state that the 3rd hokage could beat nagato people will just state that nagato has the rinnegan like that prevents him from being countered.

KKG's are not overrated, ninjas are.

Anyone can have a special weapon/ability, but it takes someone who knows how that style to be powerful.
-some prime examples are Danzo(Sharingan) , Kabuto(Following Orochimaru's path)

KKG's are a very powerful weapon, something that is almost never a disadvantage, but in the end it depends on the SKILL of the ninja.
