as a fairy tail fan, and Gray fan too, here is why I BELIEVE, gray will not die
why i believe gray won't die,

1. Mashima-Sensei, killed erza, then he revived her in the following chapter, I believe that's going to happen, he also kind of killed Jellal too, and he left us in suspence when Hades made a hole in Makarov's chest, so he likes to scare people xD

2. The next manga chapter is called "The Time of Life" it has to deal with Gray, and his Life, not Death,

3. Healing those wounds, or holes,Ultear can control time, only objects, but that was 7 years ago, we still do not know the true powers of Ultear, she tried healing natsu and Future Lucy, so she knows her healing,

4. WENDY, Laxus went to fight the dragon Zicron, the one wedny is fighting, remember, those "holes" in Gray where made with Dragon Magic, wendy's main magic is to heal, and i believe healing Dragon Magic should be her speciality,
ALSO it could be another gray, Acriados said that he would not be surprised if there where a 3rd or 4th person from the future,

LEVY, wrote that everyone died, however Levy's letter is from the futrue where Lucy comes from a future where 1000 dragons dominate humans
ROGUE, comes from where ACNOLOGIA dominates humas, the two futures are different,

In this Present, or this Future there are 7 dragons, so Its a completely different future tan the other 2 scenarios,

I definitely see a situation happening where the timeline gets altered by Rogue dying (maybe self sacrifice instead of being killed), and thus Gray coming back to life. Or as KGB suggested maybe a technique Ultear uses that costs her her life. Given her connection to Gray and her whole spiel about not being a good person, it could be a final act of redemption.

No way he's going to stay dead, especially from such a random death.
