I don't know people think on the spot random fights = true one vs one fights. He was trying to rush things. Nagato wasn't the first thing on his mind. I love how everyone says Nagato beat up on Naruto during that fight but the truth is that Naruto was way too tired before that fight evens started.

Before the fight, Naruto sent out dozens of clones to basically solo all of the zetsu and some kages. He was warned not to do this because it would take too much chakra and drain him not to mention kyuubi can kill him faster.

During the fight against Nagato, Naruto basically only used one rasenshuriken, one rasengan, and a chakra arm. This is all he was capable of using because right after the fight, Naruto couldn't even hold kcm anymore and Bee and Gyuuki evens stated that he was worn out and over doing it. This was because prior to the fight Naruto expanded way too much energy.

Naruto was tired which would lead to all of thsoe things. Pretty sure that anyone who solos a war is going to be not just phyiscally tired but mentally tied as well so naruto most likely wasnt even able to think. Manga never stated he was tired for excessive clones. On the other hand, manga shows any form of nine tails power can almost always give unlimited chakara like giving pennies away with close to 0 side effect. Only fanlogic overthink kishi can convince you naruto was tire in any other way. He LOST while he did all he could without holding back(unless manga say otherwise), there's no excuse why he lost. Don't give us a bad rep like the Sasuke fans. It's obvious little chakra or not, Nagato had the capability to beat KCM Naruto. People overrate the chakra loss argument(for both Naruto and Pain). Naruto was in the mode, so he had its power. I will say this, if Naruto had not made clones previously, he could have used them against Nagato, which would have enabled him to put up more of a fight. However, Nagato would ultimately be the victor. However, ever since he got BM, Naruto's been stronger than Nagato.

well no, he healed before the kages but eh didnt heal before Bee. I feel like he wouldve done much better against Bee. However, i do believe Sasuke would have done much better if he completed Susanoo before the kages because as soon as he unlocked it, he was tankign everything and he even brought the roof down
