We've seen KCM Naruto tank sword blows

I think Kurama meant rusty as in lack of battle sense, reflexes, stuff of that nature. I don't know how that would affect the durability of his cloak. If anything the cloak should be stronger, since he has full Kurama as an adult but Sasukes sword still went through. Naruto tanked a sword blow from a white Zetsu and it wasn't in a thrusting pointed motion to impale him, it was swung down bluntly and his arms blocked it. Ehh I don't know. maybe it will maybe it won't.

Tobirama either ties with Gojo or wins by slicing Naruto with Suidanha. Naruto wins S2.

I think it's obvious by now that piercing attacks don't get the same rules applied to them compared to non-piercing ones, even if they are massively stronger and there are too many examples that support it:

- JJ Madara being casually stabbed by a sword, bisected by a regular Chidori spear, yet he tanked Air Canon blows and it took Night Guy to visibly damage his body.
- Kaguya tanked

yet got her arm severed and later Kakashi made a slice with his Raikiri.
- KCM Naruto survived Tenpenchii at the cost of his mode, yet RBSM Naruto failed to tank a sword that didn't even have much momentum.

1. Him being rusty has nothing to do with the defensive capability of his RBSM, which should be tiers above KCM anyway, not to mention that he had 100% Kurama at that time. The ''rusty'' comment was referring to Naruto's inability to react to the attack and being too phased by it, a.k.a that he had lost some of his battle senses.

2. KCM Naruto stopped swords with his hands - that's completely different from taking a blow directly.

Sasukes sword pierced Naruto cloak and went through him. Why won't Tobiramas sword get the job done too?

The instances with Naruto and Madara had something to do with the Jutsu used to move them. Naruto's clone alone in KCM stopped blades with his forearm.

Naruto can increase his armor durability as seen when his cloaks blocked juubi size katon and Giant Kuani + Madara's Magatamas >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tobirama's sword which again is weaker then Sasuke's
