Based on the logic behind Clones giving the user experience and knowledge.

It makes sense that Naruto fighting:

20+ Edos (kages, KKGs,KKTs, Madara,)

With clones, provided him enough experience to combat Rinne-Edo paths Obito and ultimately Juubi jins and Sasuke.

I could only imagine the outcome of those fights if he didn't receive all that experience.

How far do you think Naruto would have gotten if he didn't get so much battle experience at once?

Thoughts?

Given the fact that this is a work of fiction and he's the main character.

Same result.

If we apply pure rationale he would've died against Tobi early on. The Hokage moment of trust and Kurama deciding to give him chakra wouldn't have happened. Other than that(fictional) Kishi would apply the magic plot armour to take him to the end.

if naruto actually used the shadow clones properties to their fullest sasuke wouldn't stand a chance. But the dumbass only wants to know 2 jutsu so . . . sasuke lucked out.

But it doesn't make sense to be able to use only clones (and rasengan).

that's like multiplying...nothing really. 1000*0 = 0.

650 chapters (13...+ years) into the series and the only jutsus he could do were clones and rasengan variations...sad

He actually used it well since Kakashi told him about it. Within a few weeks he learned/developed his nature element enough to use RasenShuriken. A few weeks later he mastered Sage Mode within a few days. On top of mastering RS (able to throw it). A few days later was the war where he obtained his full power as the Kyuubi's Jinchiriki, combined it with Sage mode, and was granted power from the other Biju and the Sage. By far establishing himself as the strongest alongside Sasuke.

There wasn't really a need to learn other techniques at this point.

he used it to learn 2 jutsus. (and that's if you consider Sage mode a jutsu and not a mode). He did not use clones to train for throwing frs, since he cant span clones while in SM. If i was him i'd have spent at least a week in the library or with the hokage's jutsu scroll.

Dam you’re right when I think about it SM technically isn’t a jutsu lol. Just sums it up to clones and rasengan.

I'd like to agree but Naruto had been using clones since forever in fights during part1, but the experience never seemed to transfer. It's obviously because the whole shadow clone thing is a retcon, but still.

That's because Naruto wasn't using them effectively until AFTER kakashi taught him.
Bruh, this isn't even about usage. There's no way in hell someone won't realize that they've experienced getting the shit punched out of themselves hundreds of times or that they've seen a battle from hundreds of different perspectives. It's not something you flick on and off, going by Kakashi's explanation, the memory absolutely returns to the original on its own.

@Minamoto Teh First:

Its about efficiency. Naruto fought with clones just to fight with clones back then. AFTER kakashi helped him realize his clones can retain information he decided to use them more effectively.

You forget Naruto was VERY reckless, arrogant, angry and stupid during part 1. You think he gave much thought to what his clones were giving him during his fights?

AFTER kakashi showed him how to properly use his clones he began to use them differently. His thinking changed which was showcased when he fought: Kakuza and when he was searching for Itachi/Sasuke.

Real world perspective: You ever done something a certain way for a REALLY long time only to find out from someone else that the way you do it is less efficient? Same concept.

yeaaaa, no. A more comparable analogy would be that I've ran for a really long time and never realized that sweating came with running. It's not something that's easy to overlook & it happens naturally whether I'm good at running or not. sweat = retaining memories.
