Remember in Boruto chapter 11 when Shikamaru confirmed that Katasuke was controlled? What was Katasuke doinf? He was promoting ninja tools technology to the audience . The the extent of being controlled . Which means the one controlling him is desperate to chnage the ninja world to technological advanced world .

In other words he wants to end the shinobi era .
Kawaki" Shinobi No Jidai Wa Waru" -----> "The Shinobi Era Is Over!"

Kawaki is with this person or organization that wants to end the shinobi system . I'm pretty sure too. Just wait and see how right i am
