Atop of his light feet being highlighted twice now, he also throws parts of his arms as though they were feathers.
Does he float midair or is he as light as paper?
Look at his arm when transformed a little more.
It looks like a wing with rough feathers made of a hard material appearing from the back of it.
Look at this bird's wing.
It has feathers going in the same direction as Kawaki's except at the end of the wing. The only difference is that Kawaki's hand maintains a human structure; It doesn't turn downward like the birds', so the feathers continue upwards, facing the same direction his palms would, and spike out.
