right so you're new to wind... but you've used other elements so you should have a good idea of how to control your chakra...
first lets focus on controlling your chakra ...
*holds a pile of small square papers and hands one to you*
this is just normal paper... try focussing your chakra and cutting it with it in your hand
right... so i see you've been practising manipulating it on your own to do that so quickly... either that or naturally gifted... hmm...
*rests chin on 1 hand...*
right lets start off with this seems as though you already have skill with manipulation... (Fuuton:Senpuuken)-Wind Style Hurricane Fist
*extends my fist... a swirling chakra surrounds it... i pull back my arm and punch towards a boulder sending the swirling chakra towards it and sending it flying backwards*
first start gathering chakra at your hand and try making it rotate around it
you are moving too far ahead...
i first want to point out there are 2 main uses for wind chakra... first it is used for pushing things and the second thing it is used for is to cut things... although the 2 uses are very different... the way to achieve them is very similar... to cut you just have to focus the chakra and how it moves... and also it's size and shape to be sharper and smaller.
firstly just start rotating the chakra round your hand again... try making it so that the chakra is rotating smoothly... if any is moving the wrong way then some of the energy is lost and wasted... therefore the effect of the attack will be less.
still a little fluctuation but you won't get it perfect yet... and dwindling on it now will not help you... now take aim and punch towards the boulder... it should go further than it did last time.

now gather up some spinning chakra and send it towards the tree in a sort of whirlwind to do (Fuuton

that's how it works when you don't shape the chakra and that's what i wanted to show you... there will still have been a little cutting but unless you shape it so they are like small blades they will not do much cutting...
so this time focus your chakra and imagine the shape of it... then try again at the tree.
