Or he could just evade the acid...fool. It should have been clear to anyone with common sense that Oro would die if he took a direct hit from that acid even before this chapter came out, but now Tsunade fans are spazzing out.

But in a real battle he would have a hard time to dodge her acid, which can come from 100+ directions.

While the acid may kill him if it hits (Which I doubt, he might as well just have said that to calm down Katsuyu) the sheer fact that it needs to actually hit him shows that he can counter it.

He used the Ranshomon to help protect himself but it didnt fully protect him , because as you can see in the scan, he still was facedown in the dirt.

And even if he himself didnt tank the whole thing, my point was that he is capable of tanking it with or without the aide of his jutsu.
