Letting Sakura summon her is a bit odd imo. Maybe she should have done what Gamabunta did. Send Gamaichi in his place. So sending a different slug in Katsuyu's place.

Basically, either it makes it even harder for Katsuyu, to heal Tsunade, cause she needs to be in 2 places now (with Sakura and with Tsunade) or it would be easier to heal Tsunade, because she could use Sakura her Byakugo powers for that as well.

But she isnt using Sakura her power for Tsunade apparently, yet sends a large part of herself away and makes it harder for herself to heal Tsunade right?
Or would it be easier to have more than half of yourself with Sakura? (less of herself, Katsuyu) to focus on with Tsunade).

Maybe Katsuyu is like so huge that no one ever has summoned the whole slug, just parts of her.
I mean That is the size of Katsuyu that Tsunade summoned. And Sakura summoned a Katsuyu that is the same size when Tsunade summoned her during Pain's attack. SO. Maybe you can summon small parts of her, and the rest of her resides in the shikkotsu forest. I hope this made some sense.
