Background Info.
History:
Katsu was born to ninja parents, Tamari and Tetsu Yoshiro in Konoha of the Hidden Leaf Village. His father, Tetsu, achieved the rank of Chunin whilst his mother had achieved the rank of Jounin. His parents initially decided not to allow him to train as a ninja, through fear of him dying on a mission, despite their ninja background. This changed after the death of his mother at the hands of another ninja from the village of Rain. Tetsu became greatly withdrawn from others and pushed Katsu hard to become a ninja to help his father avenge his mothers death.
Katsu finally agreed with his father and joined the Ninja Academy, learning a number of basic jutsu. He reached the rank of Genin after he passed the Ninja Academy with above average grades, he joined Ninja Team 2, the team that his mother had originally lead before her untimely death, something that his father stated was a 'sign' that Katsu was destined to avenge his mother.
Katsu's father opted to train Katsu in private to help him progress much faster than the other Genin's. Katsu was pleased to spend more time with his father, but as he grew older he believed his father was starting to border on insanity. His father took Katsu out on a secret mission to locate the man who killed his mother, this was the first time that Katsu had ever seen a dead body.
Katsu's father killed a ninja from the village of the mist, after the ninja had no information regarding the ninja from the rain. Katsu's father believed him to be lying and decided to kill him anyways. Over time, Katsu's father began to grow a much darker personality, becoming obsessed with hunting the ninja from the rain. This lead Katsu to killing his own father after he had killed another innocent ninja, creating much awkwardness for Konoha around the ninja world.
Katsu continued to train as a part of Team 2, using it as a way to take his mind off the recent confrontation with his father, many ninja's around Konoha praised Katsu for doing the right thing, claiming he would be a fine example of a ninja, but this didn't help Katsu who still felt obliged to avenge the death of his mother, regardless of how it had changed his father.
