Alright, we are starting from scratch, correct? If so, answer the following..

Yeah we are starting from scratch.
Well fire release is one of the basic 5 nature transformations in NW. Katon chakra is molded inside of stomach and then released out trough mouth. There are many ways to use fire release by infusing it into weapons by using mediums like explosive tags. It is very common in Konoha especialy within Sarutobi and Uchiha clan. It is also affiliated with Tiger hand seal. The strongest fire technique is Amaterasu.
KKG =
Boil release (fire + water)
Lava release (fire + earth)
Fire is strong against wind because wind makes flame spread making it stronger as well as bigger (by scale) attack. It is weak against water because in contact with water,flames are cooled down and evaporation will be made as well.
When in combination with earth there is KKG lava release,when combinated with wind there is scorch release.
There is neutral reaction between fire and lighting,but the way it can be used is to first make/alter weather to your needs and then use lighting.

How would you "create" fire chakra exactly? What do you do to your normal chakra in order for it to become fire?
When I said how does it combine, I didn't want KG. So if I made an earth dragon, and then spit a fireball onto it, how would the two react as a combination attack? Do that for fire+wind, and fire+lightning.

Good, heating the chakra is what I needed to see.
The rest are correct. Since you know the basics, take this slip of chakra paper, and begin to focus your chakra into it. Once you successfully infuse fire chakra into it, the paper should turn to ash. Try it out.

Taking a chakra paper from my sensei's hands I step back a little bit and take a huge breath. After doing so I start to breath slowly and focus on what I am going to do right now and how I am going to perform it. Closing my eyes down I start with gathering and molding chakra. After I feel like I gathered enough of chakra I start channeling chakra towards my right hand where chakra paper is. At the same time of channeling I start to really heat up chakra,making it really hot. When hot,heated up chakra is in my right hand I release it,making a small chakra paper easily burn down to ashes.

Selendrile's Training Method
So every sensei has a teaching method they prefer. I've created an original one that is listed below with the criteria you should complete for every technique..
1. Explain yourself performing the technique in a well detailed description. Necessary hand seals, nature and shape manipulation should be included as well.
2. List advantages and disadvantages of the technique.
3. I will post a counter to each technique you learn. Depending on what I post, tell me if it is a good or bad counter, and the reasons why. Don't focus on ranking as much for this, just focus on the properties and characteristics of each technique.
4. Rate the technique's speed of use, and why you rated it so:

Looking at your clone,which is only few meters from me I start with gathering chakra and molding it into katon chakra. After that is done I start with channeling that chakra towards my throat and month. In the period of channeling my chakra I heat it up as much as possible. When chakra just passed the throat and is about to be released from my mouth I use nature manipulation to convert it into fire and then shape manipulation to convert it into 3 fire balls that are directed towards your clone's chest.
-To be honest this is only a D - rank fire jutsu that doesn't make a lot of damage and can be used only up to short range.
-Mostly It is good to be used in combination with wind jutsu to spread flames as well as make more damage.
-With this technique user makes multiply fire balls that can be directed in different direction making it harder to dodge

( Kaen Shuriken Ranbu ) - Blazing Shuriken Dance

Description: The user will throw several shuriken at the enemy and then inflames them with fire to cause extra damage.
A simple ninja tool/fire technique. Focus your chakra while removing a few shuriken from their pouch. Once done, throw the shuriken, change your chakra into fire through nature manipulation, and enflame the shuriken. This should keep the shurikens burning with fire after you throw them.

With your clone standing about 3 meters from me I start with gathering chakra in my stomach and molding it into katon chakra. After I finished with gathering and molding I start channeling it towards my mouth in which period I heat up chakra to make it as hot as possible. When chakra is in my mouth I take 3 shurikens with my right hand and quickly trow them at your clone at the same time just before releasing fire in direction of shurikens I use nature manipulation to convert it into fire. When shurikens came in contact with fire they become inflamed and there strength is bigger.
-This is also just a D -rank technique that can only be used up to short range.
-It is jutsu that can easily make shurikens stronger and deadlier,and good to be used in short range because of the speed that is needed to perform this jutsu.
-Also the good thing about this jutsu is even though you stopped thenflames it doesn't mean you are going to stop the shurikens.
-Because it is used in short range,your opponent will have time as well as chance to attack also

Another rather simple technique. Focus your chakra into your lungs, superheating it until it can take the form of fire upon release. Once released, shape it into a small fireball and launch it at me.

I start with focusing chakra into my lungs and converting it into katon chakra. While in the lungs and in time of channeling it toward my mouth I am supper heating it up. When it comes to my mouth just before releasing I use nature manipulation to convert it into fire and shape manipulation to convert it into fireball that is directed towards you.
- D - rank jutsu that can only be used up to short range that makes some damage.
- Doesn't require any hand seals,good to be used as a distraction for another technique that is coming along.
- Just being in short range makes user vulnerable on attacks.

Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger, the user is able to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. Once it comes in contact with fire or sparks, the gas ignites into a large fireball.
Focus your chakra, and then perform the required hand seals above. Use nature manipulation on your chakra as you release it from your mouth, but in the form of a flammable gas this time.

Performs Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger hand seals. While performing hand seals I start with gathering chakra. When finished with performing hand seals I also Finnish with gathering chakra. Now I start with channeling chakra from my lungs to my mouth and at the same time I heat up chakra. When chakra is compressed in my mouth,just before releasing it I use nature manipulation as well as shape manipulation to create a flammable gas. While going towards your clone gas came in contact with fire sparks making it ignite into a large fireball. Making your clone disappear when hit.
- Just to be useful jutsu,it has to come in contact with either fire or sparks,which means it would mostly be used in combination with other fire attack making it stronger.
- A lot of hand seals make it a slow jutsu to perform
- When combined with some other fire jutsu,it is hard attack to be dodged because fire ball is big.
- We are creating flammable gas not actual fire.
- And then again it is just a D - rank jutsu then can be used up to short range.
