Hello there! So what can you tell me about Katon in the Narutoverse? What are its properties? Its strength and weaknesses?

The Katon element is one of the basic elemental nature transformations. It is performed by molding super heated chakra inside the stomachbefore releasing it via the lungs and mouth. The chakra nature is common among shinobi of Konohagakure in the Land of Fire, notably with the Sarutobi clan and Uchiha clan.Fire is strong against wind because the air feeds the flames but weak against water because it cools and smothers them.Additionally, it can be used with Wind Release to increase the strength of a fire technique and even overcome the superior element of water. The fire element is used to make the following KGs: Boil Release, Lava Release, Scorch Release and Dust Release.

Well done, Katon is a more offensive element, accompanied by the capability to viscously burn your opponent, however it is not simply limited to mere balls and streams exhaled out of your mouth, and that's something you will see as we progress.

*Takes out a stick, and ignites the top* Place your more dominant palm over the tip of the stick, just so that you can feel the small fire that has been ignited, and tell me how you feel.

I take out a stick and holds it in my left hand and then i place my right hand on the tip of the stick and concentrating fire chakra and heating the chakra to ignite the tip of the stick

 

[Kerrah]

*Nothing happens as you're not able to ignite the stick*

No-no, listen. Put your palm over the tip that I'm holding, to create fire you first have to feel fire, be one with the fire. u.u

I put my hand over the tip of the stick

So tell me, how does the fire make you feel?

It makes me feel pain,its hot

Now, open your other palm up and face it skywards, try to draw out the fire; become one with the fire and find Katon chakra within yourself, move that chakra throughout your body and with all your might, spark a little flame within the centre of your other palm.

 

[Optimus01]

'points my left palm towards the skies and concentrating'

 

[Kerrah]

Good, now from there feel the burning sensation within you; embrace the heat given off from my flame, and visualise a simple small ball in your hand. Now bring that imagination to reality, knead chakra at the centre of your open palm, and ignite a simple, small fire ball that will be shot skywards.

 

[Optimus01]

Concentrating my chakra to my palm and channeling the flame , using the flame as a media to ignite my chakra allowing the fire chakra to flow all over my body and using the palm pointed towards the skies as an outlet to the heated chakra to creat a fire nature energy

 

[Kerrah]

*The fire disperses as it leaves your hand*

Hmm, not bad. I wonder what made the fire disperse though, do you have the answer?

Yes,there was not enough oxygen
I am a beginner
The chakra applied is not enough

Third answer would be correct, you didn't use shape manipulation, the fire wasn't controlled and it was unraged, so try again one more time to fully master that aspect. As you begin to release your fire chakra towards the center of your palm, use shape manipulation, compressing it into a ball, that you shoot upwards into the sky.

As i am releasing the chakra at the centre of my palm,i conentrated the chakra with rage and compressed it into a ball like shape and shoot it upward

Description: The user will release a small but powerful flame of fire at their opponent.

Now, since we're on the point of shape manipulation, let's try doing something more advanced which is called infusing. *throws you several shurikens* Pick them up, and hold them separately throughout your fingers. Then, with a simple swinging motion, throw these shurikens towards your opponent, however the trick here is, as they are leaving your hands, begin to concentrate on your fire chakra, channeling throughout your entire body and more specifically to your hands and those shurikens. So that as they are moving towards your opponent, the chakra will come out and with the aid of oxidization from the air, they will get engulfed in fire as they are approaching your enemy, dealing more damage.

Picks up the shurikens and hold them separately between each finger,while holding it i concentrate on the katon chakra in my body and flowing it into the shurikens and throws it,while in mid-air i concentrated on the katon chakra i have placed into the shurikens and igniting it

Moving on, perform this sequence of hand signs *shows* Whilst kneading your Katon chakra throughout your your entire body, channeling it towards your gullet more specifically. Then, within an instant, blow the chakra out of your mouth. However here is the tricky part, you're not going to be blowing it out in a physical form of fire, but rather, manipulate the chakra inside your body, and make it so that you blow out a simple stream of flammable, non transparent gas that moves towards your opponent.
