Alright very good. ^^
Welcome, I am Shinta and I shall be taking you up to B-ranks of the Katon element, for that is what your rank allows you to learn.

Here's how this training will work;

I'll post the jutsu and tell you a little about them, then you'll fill out a template I have. Be sure to perform the jutsu and the counter as if it were a real battle.

( Katon: Shōkasou ) - Fire Release: Small Fire Stream
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will create a small short flame at the opponent. This flame is capable of making the target collapse due to the heat of the technique. This technique requires no handseals.

Charge your fire chakra into your lungs, and the breath out a short and intensely hot flame that makes my clone collapse due to the extreme heat.

( Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger, a ninja inhales air, and utilizing a large amount of fire chakra, spews a large fireball from their mouth after blowing through a ring made by the thumb and index finger of the user, incinerating everything in range. The fireball ignites externally.

Now gather your katon chakra in a similar fashion as before, but this time perform the Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger and then inhale a breath of air. Then blow out a stream of fire from your mouth, through a ring you'll form using your Index finger and Thumb, shaping it into a large ball of flame.

Small Fire Stream
One/three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. Due to range and the capabilities of this technique, one can quickly follow up with a fast sword/kunai strike
2. Because of the sheer heat given off by this technique, it can be a great short-range defense against appropriate techniques (kunai, D-rank water, B-rank wind)
3. It's fast because of no handseals
One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. The technique is short-ranged, meaning I have to get close to my target to use it, and often people like to fight without allowing one to get in close
2. Doesn't seem very versatile; to me it appears that it can really only be used as a sudden burst of heat and energy without much room for creativity
How you would use it in battle: As my opponent sends in a projectile, I'd use this technique to deflect the projectile and create a large burst of flame to temporarily block my opponent's vision of me. I'd also use this if I were behind my opponent in order to cause them to begin to faint from the sheer heat, and then stab them.
How you would counter it: Keep my opponent away from short-range of me, or if this is somehow impossible, create a barrier (preferably out of water or earth) around myself to stop incoming attacks, especially fire.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): *Standing near your clone, I begin to focus upon my chakra within myself. Clapping my hands together for added effect, I draw my Katon chakra into my lungs, where I mould it with the air as I inhale. Then I begin to move the air and chakra into my mouth, preparing to exhale, and as I exhale the air, the chakra in my breath reacts violently with the air of lesser temperature outside my body, causing my breath to ignite and become like fire, fueled by my chakra rather than oil or wood. As I exhale one sudden, brief burst of fire energy, the intense heat compressed into a short moment is expelled outwards towards your clone, and as the heat presses against his nervous system and senses, they overheat his body in that one moment, quickly shutting down his brain in an instinctual self-defence mechanism, causing him to faint.*

Great Fireball Technique
One/three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. As the large, sustained fireball is created, the shinobi's free hand can then throw a projectile weapon through the flame as a surprise attack on the opponent
2. By jumping upwards and aiming at the ground, this technique can propel one through the air as an alternative to using Fuuton techniques (for example, for those who haven't learned them)
3. The size of the fireball is large enough to cover the user in case of a wide-scale, rank-appropriate (to be blocked) technique
One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. Requires a string of handseals which can take time and may become troublesome in a fast-paced fight
2. Because of the size of the technique, the light and sound given off, it's only suited for a direct attack. This coupled with the handseals makes it tedious to use for an attack
3. Short-ranged. Once again, when coupled with the handseals... <.<
How you would use it in battle: Honestly, I'd mostly use this technique for defenses against wide-spread Wind techniques, the fire taking the brunt of the wind which would do actual damage to me due to its size. Also, in my early stages of training, I may use it to propel myself through the air.
How you would counter it: Once again, earth and water would be effective... I'm sorry, I can't really think of a creative way to counter this right now... Perhaps if I were further along in my training I could think of something...
:shy:
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): *I begin to mould katon chakra in my lungs as I form the string of handseals. Then I inhale, mixing my chakra with the air, and I press my index finger into the pad of my thumb. Moving my inhaled air into my mouth, I raise my ring of fingers up to my mouth and begin to exhale through the ring. As my chakra-infused air passes through the ring, the chakra in the air igniting the air itself to form a massive flame out the other side of my fingers. Then, using basic shape manipulation, I turn the flame into a spherical shape as I continue to exhale chakra-infused air to fuel the flame.

Don't worry too much about your level of training, if you know of certain jutsu, but can't perform them, you can still suggest them as a method to counter. ^_^

( Katon: Kimuchi Amura ) - Fire Release: Wall of Flames
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary/Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user first throws out a lighter that has an open flame. The user the turns the flame into a wall of fire used for protection or to burn small objects thrown towards him. This jutsu can be used with Hurricane Fist to create a combo jutsu.

Take out a lighter and light the flame, then inject your fire chakra into it and throw the device on the ground. You'll then manipulate the chakra you stored in the lighter, to make the flame grow into a decent sized wall, enough to obscure you from the view of my clone standing before you. It will serve as a defencive wall to some extent however it is quite the weak wall at that.

( Katon: Hibashiri ) - Fire Release: Running Fire
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal by utilizing their fire chakra, the user will create a stream of fire that can be manipulated into several forms (rings of fire that runs on the ground or a circle of fire flying through the air) before striking the target. It can also be used in combination with a suitable wind technique to release a massive inferno.

Perform the Tiger hand seal and breathe out stream of fire that runs along the ground to encircle my clone. Once the flame forms a ring of fire along the ground around him, direct three lines of flame inwards to strike him.

( Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user will perform four handseals Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger , and breathe fire along a cord or any other type of long object, which rushes forward in straight line catching the enemy on fire. A line of enemies can be used as the conductor as well. The flames are meant to target, and assault the enemy's upper body just like a projectile weapon.

Throw four kunai with cord attached to them so they land on the ground just past my clone, almost so he can reach out and pluck them without having to move from his spot. Hold onto the other end of the cords as you perform the Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger hand seals. Then you will breathe fire onto the cords, direting the flame along them so that they will eventually burn my clone as the flames erupt on impact. Hold the cord so that it in under tension and won't droop down to hit the ground.

Wall of Flames
Three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. By combining with wind, it can create a powerful, burning wind technique
2. If I can somehow throw it under my opponent, it engulfs them in a large wall of fire
3. It can obstruct my opponent's vision f me, allowing me time to prepare something which takes preparation, or to travel underground to surprise attack (once I learn the technique)
Three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. I need to have a lighter to use it
2. When my vision of my opponent is obstructed, a simply straight-forward attack can take me by surprise
3. If I throw it too close, or my opponent pushes it back towards me, I may get burned by my own technique
Strategies and combinations: Well, by shooting some water at the fire wall, I can create a thick steam which can prove to cover everything and block my opponent's vision quite well. Or follow up with a barrage of small senbon after throwing the lighter and having it detonate mid-air, creating a sudden bright light to distract my enemy. Or I'd throw the lighter into the air and let it detonate mid-air. Then, as the lighter blows up into a wall of flame, I shoot a ball of wind through the large, spread-out wall of fire, the wind sucking in all of the flame and making use of the entire technique to fully power it as it goes towards my opponent.
How you would counter it: Shoot a sharp blade of wind through the wall. Even though conflicting fire and wind shouldn't mix together, this fire is stationary, and as such I think it should be usable by the enemy as well, so one may as well take advantage of that by sending a flaming, cutting blade of wind towards the person who created the flame wall.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): *I hold the lighter in my hands, and I flick it on once to make sure that it's still functional and has proper fuel. Letting the flame die out, I focus my chakra control to send my heated katon chakra into my hand, and from my hand into the fluid within my lighter. As the fluid becomes filled with my chakra, I flick the igniter and light a small flame, before tossing the small container away from myself. As the container lands on the ground, the sudden shock of the movement stopping disturbed my chakra in the lighter, my body no longer being able to regulate the chakra within, and as my katon chakra within the lighter became disturbed, it began to ignite the aggravated fluid (aggravated by my chakra), causing the rapid ignition and, ultimately, explosion of the lighter itself, the she

Running Fire
Three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. It runs along the ground, making counter-attacking while defending difficult
2. It can easily be combined with wind to create a towering vortex of inferno
3. It's versatile and can run along the ground as well as go through the air
Three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. The flames themselves aren't very effective when on the ground, mainly only used for trapping an opponent if not used with wind
2. As the flames move towards the target, they have a set travelling speed, and give off light so that one can see the flame coming and have ample time to react
3. Going into the air is an easy defense against this technique, which most of the time doesn't require a lot of chakra
Strategies and combinations: Distract the opponent with a higher attack (maybe a kunai), then make the flames run along the ground to trap them. Then finish with a wind technique to create a towering inferno
How you would counter it: When used in the air, a good water technique shoulde be fine. When coming at me from the ground, certain earth techniques which raise or lower the ground the flame is traveling on can increase the time it would take the flame to get to me, allowing me to counter-attack before my opponent can completely hit me with the flame.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): *Making the tiger handseal, I focus katon chakra into my lungs, inhaling and mixing the air with the hot chakra, before moving the air into my mouth and exhaling the chakra/air mixture. As my breath leaves my mouth, the violent chakra in my breath reacts with the cool air outside my body and causes a spontaneous combustion, making it so that the air I breathe becomes like fire. The thin stream of fire then hits the ground, which i force it to travel towards a dummy, and branch off into two streams as it meets the dummy. The two streams curve around it, via my shape manipulation, and then meet behind the dummy to form a ring of flames around it. After surrounding the dummy, I cause three sections of the circle, equally spread apart from one another, to shoot flame from the ring itself inwards towards the dummy, hitting its feet and traveling up its legs, sending it up in flame.*

Dragon Fire Technique
Three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. As this technique can be used along any type of "long object", one could say that when clashing swords, I could breath flame down my blade, which then goes down my opponent's blade and harms him
2. One could miss with the kunai/shuriken/whatever has the cord on purpose in order to distract the opponent into not defending (because they don't have to), and then ignite the cord as they pull said cord towards the opponent
3. Ninja Wire is rarely seen, and as such the user can send flame along a pre-determined path which may be invisible to the target
Three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. Most kunai/shuriken/anything which can carry wire will be blocked, making it difficult to get the wire close enough to attack with
2. The technique can be defended in freeform, assuming the flame travels down a wire, by cutting said wire so the flame can't travel anymore
3. The required handseals make it difficult to use in close-quarters, or as a quick, last-second type technique
Strategies and combinations: When fighting in an enclosed space, I could cover the entire room with weapons with ninja wires attached to them, with certain wires crossing each other just because of how the set-up would be. Then I could ignite the entire room in one technique (making it look like the air is on fire if the opponent can't see the wires). I could also do the same thing in a forest with trees.
How you would counter it: Don't let kunai get near me, whether I can see the wire or not. Or if I can see the flame already coming towards me, try and cut the wire, or move the medium the flame is traveling on away from myself with any appropriate technique (freeform, if at all possible).
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): *I take four kunai, with Ninja Wire tied to the rings, and throw them towards your clone, aiming to miss him, but only barely miss him. As the kunai fly by his sides and land stuck in the ground behind him, I hold each Ninja Wire between my fingers. Forming the four handseals, I focus my katon chakra in my lungs as I inhale. Moving the chakra/air into my mouth, I hold the ends of the wire up to my mouth, and begin to exhale the air, which violently reacts with the air to form flame which ignites the wire, and travels down their lengths. As the flame passes down the wire by your clone's side, it ignites his clothing and sets him ablaze.*

( Katon: Karyūdan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user exhales a flame breath from their mouth after making one handseal. This technique can be used in conjunction with Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet to ignite the projectiles fired by the latter technique, making it more devastating.

Perform the Tiger hand seal as you charge your fire chakra into you lungs, coughing up a small ball of fire at that tree over there.

This is the Jutsu the Third Hokage used in conjunction with an earth technique to create a pseudo-lava combination, see the description for details. xD

( Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user first performs six hand seals Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger and they create a volley of small fireballs, which are sent flying in an unpredictable manner assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

Gather your fire chakra as your perform the Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger hand seal, then release from you mouth a volley of many small fire balls big enough to hide a shuriken in each one... which is what you're going to do! As you release the fire balls, throw a shuriken in each fireball so that a little extra surprise will be in store for my clone.

Three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. One handseal; fast to use
2. It's a steady stream, so I can change directions
3. It has enough latent heat to melt mud into a lava-esque substance
Three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. I have to stop the technique before performing another one, because it's a stream, meaning I can set up two attacks at the same time with this
2. The versatility in this jutsu comes from a combination with a technique I haven't learned yet
Strategies and combinations: You mean aside from the one in the jutsu? Throw a kunai in the air, have it arc so that it flies high but will come down to strike my opponent's head. After that, use this technique to draw their attention away from it
How you would counter it: Simple water, I guess.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): *Forming the Tiger handseal, I focus my chakra in my lungs. Focusing on the raw power and heat which comes from Katon, I close my eyes as I draw in a breath, mixing my heated chakra with the air in my lungs. Then, I move the air into my mouth, and I begin to exhale a steady stream of air. As I exhale, my chakra creates a reaction with the cooler air outside of my body and spontaneously combusts, forming a stream of fire extending outwards.*

Three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. They are unpredictable, making it difficult do dodge on a small-scale
2. I can control them, making them difficult to dodge on a large-scale
3. I can attack multiple moving targets with this
Three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):
1. Lots of handseals; tl,dnr. <.<
2. Large defenses; stop all of them and the shuriken
3. If you stop the fire, you most likely stop the shuriken as well... <.<
Strategies and combinations: Probably use this as a distraction technique; create a large volley of fireballs to move unpredictably in a flashy manner towards my opponent, while a single kunai flies through the air towards them. Though that specific one works better in little to no light; like Flaming Arrows and Night Arrows <.<
How you would counter it: A large wall; stop the fireballs and the shuriken at once.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): *Performing the long row of handseals (which I've already forgotten...) I inhale as I reach into my weapons pouch to grab six shuriken. Forming my chakra into that of the Katon nature, I mix it with my air as I throw the shuriken, quickly exhaling the flames into six balls of fire which consume the metal projectiles. Then, I control each of the fireballs to move in a large arc so that they can all converge on your clone and attack at once.*

My training is pretty straitforward. You'll be learning 3 jutsu at a time and for each you should perform them with as much detail as possible so i know you understand the jutsu. Your targets are usually Pein or his summons. Feel free to ask if you ever have a question for me.

First of all i want you to exhale a small wave of flames at your target and manipulate it to close in and wrap around your target like a cocoon, burning it all over. Take out that guy.

*points out a Pein taunting you*

Now simply shoot several small fireballs at your target while in mid-air. Nothing new. Might want to dodge those.

As Pein is taunting me, I begin molding my chakra in my gut. Quickly, I migrate my molded chakra into my lungs as I inhale. Thinking back on the flickering flames, the intense heat, the raw power of Katon, I heat my chakra with the air in my lungs as I exhale. As the air leaves my mouth, my super-heated chakra ignites the air and creates I widespread stream of flame which flows out towards Pein. However, as it approached Pein, as I'm still exhaling, I utilize my chakra control to manipulate the flames at the edge of the stream to shoot ahead of the center, causing the flames to "curve". As the flames curve, still approaching Pein, the come a full 360 around the man's body, engulfing him in flame as the fire converges on itself, consuming Pein from head to toe.

Afterwards, a second Pein has thrown shuriken at me. Taking precaution, I push off the ground, using more power in my right leg than my left, in order to send himself into the air and to the left of the attack. As I'm airborne, I once again mold my chakra in my solar plexus, moving it into my lungs as I inhale upon ascent. Mixing the heated chakra with the air, I utilize my chakra control at an earlier step this time and portion several sections of my chakra to create "spheres" of hot Katon chakra within the air in my lungs. Moving to exhale at the peak of my jump, my breath releases the spheres of chakra hidden within the air itself, which combust into several small fireballs that rain down upon the shuriken, hitting all but the furthest two. As I land, I look over my shoulder at the two I missed.

Looks like I'll need some practice...

Not bad. For this jutsu, exhale a small fireball at your target, this one brighter and capable of hitting further targets. Try hitting that.

*points out a Pein waving in the distance*

( Katon: Kitsunebi ) - Fire Release: Fire Whisp
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user creates a small ball of bright fire from their mouth that shoots at the opponent burning on impact.

Next, perform the Ram, Horse, Snake, Dragon, Rat, Ox and Tiger handseals before exhaling a thin stream of flames toward your target at great speeds. The stream spreads across the ground and produces so much heat that the ground melts as it travels. Try it on those guys.

*points to a few Peins who run for their lives, oddly in a strait line.*

( Katon: Karyū Endan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user first performs seven handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Dragon → Rat → Ox → Tiger and kneads chakra into flames, which are then manipulated and exhaled as a thin yet incredibly fast jet of flames that spread across the ground as it runs towards the enemy. Its temperature is such that it easily melts the ground as it travels and can reduce an enemy to ash.

Now i want you to gather katon chakra in your hands and produce condensed balls fire you shoot at your target. They're different than your average fireballs. On impact with another object, they explode but don't burn the target. Strike these guys out.

*points out a line-up of Peins*

Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.

Looking at the Pein off in the distance, I squint my eyes. It was quite a ways away, but sensei believes in my ability to hit the man - or rather, my ability to utilize this technique which he should be certain can hit him. Inhaling deep through my nostrils, I build up katon chakra in my chest, compressing it into my lungs as I begin to exhale, the air moving through my throat and into my mouth. Building up the katon chakra between my lips, held together as though I were whistling, I allow the chakra to gather as I exhale for a second or so, compressing it into a small ball of fire before allowing it to fly along my breath, the ball being smaller than most of the fireballs I've made up until now. With the tiny fireball flying out, at higher speeds than I could have imagined, I smile, choosing to move onto the next technique as I wait for the travel time.

Remembering what sensei had said before I began performing these techniques, I began to form the Ram, Horse, Snake, Dragon, Rat, Ox and Tiger handseal, inhaling the entire time to build up a lot of air in my lungs. Focusing my chakra as I weave the handseals and inhal, also into my lungs, I begin to exhale after the handseal sequence has been completed, allowing the flame to extend down to the ground, rather than creating an airborne stream of flame. As the fire leaves my mouth, I use my chakra control to try and make the fire as hot as I can, allowing the flame to melt the ground it touches, and the soil inches before it as it travels, carving itself a path to follow all the way to the multiple Peins lined up almost comedically, running for their lives as the fire with enough power to melt the ground before it travels towards them. Glancing over, I notice a humanoid figure of flame off in the distance - my previous technique had actually been able to hit that far-off Pein. Now all that was left was this third technique.

Taking in a deep breath, this time not for a technique, I close my eyes as I focus. Channeling my katon chakra into my palms, I open my eyes, holding my hands up near shoulder-height with the palms up, looking at my hands. For a moment, nothing happened. Staring intently at my hands, focusing so hard that my eyebrows begin to come together and wrinkle my forehead as I concntrate, I send more and more chakra into my palms and the air above my palms. After a second or two, the air above my skin ignited, golden fireballs spawning spontaneously in my hands. A smile jumping onto my face, I glance up towards your line of Peins. Taking in another deep, but quick breath, I pull back my right hand and toss out the fireball like a baseball, swinging my left hand across my body to launch that fireball out sideways rather than in a proper "overhead" throw like the other one. Remembering what it had felt like to create the fire in the first place, I look back down at my hands, focusing my chakra at the same level as I had before in order to spawn two more golden fireballs. Grinning, with a more murderous aura than a gleeful one, I look back up and throw out these last two fireballs, watching them explode on contact with the Peins' chests and inducing powerful burns along their bodies.

Now that's a good one...

Sorry for taking so long, sensei... :(

Impressive. Now simply exhale a fireball at your target similar to the Great Fireball technique but shorter and more potent than the original. Try burning down my defense. Doton: Iwa Enchou no Jutsu!

Rank: B
Type: Defensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description:The user slams his hands on the ground and creates a 1/4 dome of earth, which protects them from frontal external attacks. The domes shape is in a similar fashion to wood release: wood locking walls.

( Katon: Hiendan ) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense, Deffence
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user exhales a stronger yet shorter version of the Fire Release: Great Fireball technique.

Next, perform the Horse and Tiger handseals before exhaling giant sphere of fire that carries your target away and causes a massive explosion after hitting the ground or another relatively large solid object. The fireball should be made dense and solid enough to go through any weaker obstacles in its path without exploding. There's your target.

Damage Points: 40
Description: The user after performing two hand seals Horse → Tiger exhales a big-sized sphere of fire that carries the enemy away and causes a massive explosion on impact. The fire ball has a given solidity property to it, being able to punch through solid obstacles without exploding.

For this jutsu you must jump into the air and exhale three giant fireballs at your target that erupt and engulf him in a geyser of flame. Cook this crab nice and thorough.

Taking in a deep breath, I shake my hands a bit to ready myself. Cracking my knuckles outwards away from my body as I inhale for the technique, I separate my hands and bring my right hand close to my mouth, my finger tips closed in a circle like for the Great Fireball Technique. Focusing my chakra into the air in my lungs as my back is arched away from my target earthen defense, I literally lean forwards, forcing the air out of my lungs and through the ring formed by my finger and thumb. As my air passes through the ring, I allow my chakra to combust, engulfing the stream of air into a very hot ball of flame. As the fire burned hot, it consumed the oxygen in my breath quickly, making the fireball burn hot but quickly and rather close to me. However, standing as close as I was to the earthen dome, I made sure that my flames could reach my target.

After listening to my sensei's instructions, I begin building chakra in my solar plexus as I think on the desired effect of the technique. Nodding my head when I'm ready, I form the two handseals as I focus the chakra I had been building to my lungs, manipulating it to create the fire nature. Inhaling with the handseals, I begin to move the air through my throat and into my mouth, exhaling the chakra-and-air mixture into the static air around me, utilizing my chakra to keep it close together and condensed, rather than spread out. As the compacted chakra meets the air, it reacts and begins to burn, the newly-created condensed fireball moving forwards as I continue to fuel it with my chakra. As the dense ball of flame and death flies through the air towards the Pein body I had aimed it at, it makes contact and begins to drag the body along with the flames (displacement of air due to heat, force of friction with this condensed wall of air, general kinetic energy, etc.). With the fire having a very slight downwards trajectory due to my imperfect (yet still decent) aim, the fireball would eventually contact the ground in it's almost-linear path, exploding into a massive burst of fire, blood, and limbs as the Pein is reduced to ashes.

Smiling at the though, I look at the giant crab that my sensei had summoned. Picturing what it would looked like cooked - steaming, meat spilling out of the shell - I blink a couple of times to get me back into the proper mind set. Building up katon chakra in my gut, I begin to run towards the giant crustacean. As the crab notices me and turns my way, I quickly change my course of action and push myself off of the ground, sending me up and into the air in the opposite direction that I had been running before. Sending my chakra from my gut into my lungs as I push myself into the air, I equally divide the chakra mixed in with the air into three separate parts, making sure no parts are in contact. Moving the air into my mouth, I sharply exhale three times, releasing a large fireball each time. As the fire rains down on the crab, one ball to land just before it, hopefully slightly under due to the angle, and the other two to land slightly behind the crab and to its left and right, respectively, I myself begin to descend from my height. Running over to sensei as my fire erupts into massive columns of flame, contact with the ground disrupting the portion of chakra which kept them as proper spheres, I look over to the area with black smoke billowing out of it, unable to fully make out the state of the crab.

Think we can eat him, Sensei? I've never had crab before...

Superb. Here's something new. After performing four handseals, gather katon chakra in your lungs and exhale it, converting the chakra into burning ash instead of fire. The ash would hang in the air around your target like a cloud. Then by clicking your teeth or through other means, the ash is ignited and the target engulfed in a flaming explosion. In addition to its offensive potential, this tehnique may also serve as a hazardous smokescreen choking the target and discouraging he use of certain elements like lightning and fire. However, you will also be at risk of having the ash blown back at you by wind jutsu or getting caught in the explosion if you're too close. End this party with a bang!

( Katon: Haisekishō ) - Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user spews superheated ash from their mouth after performing four handseals. The ash is hot enough to cause third-degree burns on the victim. Because it's composed entirely of ash, it stays in the air around the victim like a cloud. If the user clicks his teeth, the stagnant ash will ignite, creating a violent explosion.

Next, simply exhale a few large fireballs at your target. These resemble dragon heads and when they're shot into the sky, the extreme heat of the fireballs can cause thunderclouds to form overhead which may be used to perform Kirin. Most fire jutsu B rank and above can do this if they have a long range. Try it out.

( Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offense/Supplementary
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user fires several large dragon-shaped fireballs at their opponent after performing one handseal. It is able to alter localized weather conditions to the point of making thunder clouds when shot into the air, enabling the user to perform Kirin.

This one's self explanatory and you've done a similar technique before. Take these goons out.

( Katon: Hōsenka Tsumabeni ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user unleashes a volley of shuriken with one hand, while at the same time exhaling fire-infused chakra onto them in order to increase the weapons' destructive potential by making them capable of inflicting severe burns upon direct contact with either the intended victim or any other object caught within their trajectories. Due to the chakra-based nature of the flames that surround them, the shuriken will continue to burn after impact, regardless of the flammability of the object that they ultimately collide with.

After listening to my Sensei explain everything to me, I take a second to close my eyes and visualize what I want to happen. With an image in my mind, I grin, ready to begin.

Focusing chakra in my lungs, I take in a deep breath through my nose before I begin to do anything with the chakra aside from gathering it. Focusing on the techniques I had done before, I cause my chakra to "heat up" via the Fire Nature Transformation I have become accustomed to by now. However, I can't allow the chakra to remain as one large group - I focus on my chakra to separate it out into a mist of clearly-separated Katon chakra "pieces". These pieces then take on the properties of ash as I begin to exhale, the air and chakra moving through my throat, into my mouth, and then out into the open air as a thick black cloud of hot ash. I can feel the heat on my cheeks as the ash enters the air before me, a testament to the surprising heat this flameless Fire Style technique can bring. As the last of the ash was exhaled, the black cloud simply adding to the effect of the rave with several bright lights flashing through it for a really cool effect, I close my mouth with my lips pulled back (by the strength of the muscles in my lips) so that my teeth could click together before they met. As my teeth came together, residual chakra from the technique activated and created a small spark, which flew into the cloud of ash and upset the delicate system, creating a chain reaction which turned the black cloud of ash into a bright ball of flame.

Going back outside, I turne my attention to the skies, seeing the Pein in the treetops as I looked up. I inhaled once more and focused the chakra into my lungs. This time I allowed the chakra to be more aggregate, while still creating three distinct separations, rather than the countless many I had to do before. Bringing my hands before my mouth for dramatic effect, I quickly and sharply exhaled three different times, as if I were blowing smoke rings, though these were much more deadly. The expelled substance was flame, rather than smoke, with my shape transformation taking control to cause them all to form the figure of dragons' heads. With the three different fireballs aimed at different Peins, surely they would be falling out of the tree in no time.

I then looked towards the Peins who were taunting me. Clearly they didn't hear my orders, or see my previous works. Or perhaps they simply didn't care. No matter. Reaching into the ninja pouch on my right thigh, I pulled out three shuriken, one between each of my fingers. Taking a deeper breath than usual, as though I were yawning, I began to build up my Katon chakra in my lungs, winding my arm up as I did so. Extending my arm to launch the three shuriken forwards, I brought my lips close together to exhale the flame in a concentrated-at-first manner, the fire spreading out as it met air to form a large firegball which encompassed all three shuriken. I then focused my chakra to latch onto the weapons, the throwing stars becoming engulfed with flame as they flew straight towards the Peins. I then straightened up, having bent over slightly as I threw the weapons.

Man, this is so much fun. You know, it's been so long, I don't even know if you still want to teach me... :( But it would be great if you did. :D

Fortunately i still have your thread subscribed. We'll carry on. :coffee:

Nicely done. This one's a personal favorite. Perform the Tiger handseal and release katon chakra into the air around you. Focus the chakra at multiple points, manifesting it as a swarm of ghost-like fireballs resembling demonic heads you can direct at different targets. How about a little hide and seek?

( Katon: Onidōrō ) - Fire Release: Demon Lantern
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the atmosphere around him to create several ghost-like flames resembling heads with horns and yellow eyes that then attack the target/s in a swarm.

Next, simply shoot a small fireball at your target's feet that erupts into a big column of fire 3 meters tall, burning them all over. Find your next victim.

( Katon: Honoo no Hashira Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Flame Pillar Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive

Damage points: 40
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra into their chest and then they will release from their mouth a quick burst of flame towards their opponents feet which then errupts into a large pillar of flame reaching 3 meters tall and inflicting damage to the target.

Another unique move: Perform the Monkey, Bird, Dog and Ram handseals before releasing katon chakra around your body and creating a spiraling vortex of flame you can either launch at your target or expand the flames into a rising tornado burning everything nearby. Try them both out.
