It probably goes to Hashirama's advantage since it won't burn down his trees immediately allowing him to grab Madara and attack him with his own flames.

You honestly think you're the first one to raise that?

Needs no explanation, really.

No.

Wood = Earth + Water

Water > Katon
Earth = Katon

Wood > Katon.

#logic

In Storm 3 Madara sets his Wood Style attack on fire during his awakening combo.

Even if Water + Earth = Wood, Wood doesn't retain the properties of Water and Earth. It's a new form, one that is naturally weak to fire.

Manga doesn't use logic. Enton > Suiton. It doesn't work that way.

It's like how Haku's ice didn't melt to Sasuke's fire.

It's pretty much just the strength of the chakra embed into the jutsu, I would imagine.

Please never use games as part of a debate. And no, it is part water and earth. It is naturally strong to fire. You are using IRL examples when IRL, wood does not absorb chakra.

Strengthen wood to the point it can grow legs and run, if you hit it with a Fire Release tech, all you will have is a pile of ash.

His wood is too strong to be burned, it has a stronger life force probably than regularly wood.

This is like saying 2+2= 5.

Like saying A comes after B in the alphabet.

Like saying there is good music on the radio.

No.

Katon is only one nature, Mokuton is two.

That's why Mokuton > Katon UNLESS the Katon is stronger.

We're talking Narutoverse logic, so the Penguin guy is right.

Think of how many times Hashirama fought Madara, a master of Katon, and won.

Not really considering the fact that Amaterasu would burn Mokuton...
