Hello there.

So has anyone here played Katawa Shoujo? I just played through it myself and I rather liked it a lot, especially Lilly's path. She had by far the best support cast to be sure. And was I the only one who couldn't stand Rin?

For those of you who are wondering, it's a visual novel about a guy who has (what you could call) a heart attack, discovers he has cardiac dysrhytmia and is sent to a school for students who are challenged in various ways, and the player (or reader I guess, who has to make a few choices) follows his story through the new school. I once read a youtube comment which described the game perfectly - 'you play it expecting a fap but end up having feels'. It's an emotional rollercoaster which everyone can enjoy for free and I found it very touching - and I often get yelled at for having too high standards. If anyone should be interested, just check it out on youtube or download it for free on their website (I'm not advertising piracy, it is supposed to be a free-to-play game developed by a tiny studio, so as a gaming enthusiast, it's my duty to give them some cred.)

The problem it is something one would like to discuss, given how it's all about personal tastes, interpretation and so on.

Personally, I'm a Hanako & Rin kind of guy. Rin's route was the most challenging, but it gave me a whole different kind of fell than Hanako's did.
Many kudos to 4LS.

Don't give up, man. It's totally worth it.
Lemon Lube.
That is all.
You'll laugh and cry.
Don't give up.

I've actually heard a lot about it, but never tried it. Also, I don't really have time to play a game like that right now U_U

I just have to ask...what's so appealing about Rin? That entire path just felt weird. You never really accomplished anything...or did anything, really. It just felt so unsatisfying to me. Emi's was...alright but it felt as if Hisao was just tricked into becoming her *** toy. She never really cared for him, did she? Well, not before the very end at least.

Also, you're welcome:
