I agree.. i HATED this episode with a passion LOL. Did not enjoy it at all apart for some sasuke and his music.

They'd never be able to animate that dream w/o the episode getting an adult rating and possibly banned with a few arrests even...

I'm pretty sure up to Sasuke's fight with Danzo it wasn't Karin's dream but her backstory.

Since it is never revealed in the manga, they decided to put it in here. Notice that the dreams of the other characters started them out as they were in the war before they were captured in IT, and didn't make them go through their childhood again.
