Remember Karin's Heal Bite technique?
It allowed for Karin to heal herself or others by transferring chakra via biting.
One of the caveats of this technique is that it leaves permanent scaring and drains the distributor's life force. She has survived getting impaled by Chidori and receiving heavy gashes by Spiral Zetsu
The plethora of bite marks indicate heavy use (Orochimaru's experimentation) but due to her Uzumaki bloodline, her life force allows her to tolerate a cumbersome tax.

Karin jokingly mentions how Tsunade will drain the youth of out her as she heals her. This is a commendable feat; Karin has the chakra capacity to heal a truncated Tsunade, who herself depends on a large stock of chakra to maintain a young appearance(using Strength of a Hundred Seal/Hyakugou Seal) and summon the entire Katsuya.

What if chakra is integrated with DNA? This could explain why Sarada shares some characteristics with Karin although she is Sakura's daughter. Sarada is the first and only Uchiha to have myopia (near nearsightedness) and exhibits the same reflexive adjusting of her glasses. Karin has rescued Sasuke numerous times with this technique so it's reasonable to assume Sasuke has a considerable amount of Karin's chakra in him. We will probably get a flashback showing Karin on her deathbed just barely holding on to her glasses as the image of baby Sarada becomes blurrier and eventually fades away.

What ever happened to this stockpile of Sharingans? If Sarada is unable to achieve Sharingan on her own, she can always consult Uncle Orochimaru, because we all know how long he has yearned for the day he acquired these immaculate eyes. Who else could benefit?
