Ok so here's the scoop. The Other day I was reading Kishi's interview and I came to the part that talked about how three new members would join Akatsuki.
5. 3 new members will join the Akatsuki. They will be stronger than Deidara, Hidan, and Kakuzu. One of them is the brother/sister of the Hokage
-> not yet confirmed, but the brother/sister of the Hokage will be likely to be Tsunade's???
Now keep in mind I'm assuming that Tsunade is the Hokage Kishi was refering to and it could very easily change. This is also assuming that the new members refered in this interview are the new members that have already joined. We know that four new members joined Akatsuki. Sasuke, Jugo, Karin and Suigetsu Hozuki. Sasuke obviously isn't related the Hokage in any way. Suigetsu is from another village, and Jugo well we don't know much about him but I doubt it. That leaves Karin. We know almost nothing about her except that she is obsessed with Sasuke. We also know that she can heal people by letting people suck her chakra.
We also know that same chakra she has special lets her heal fater than most people. So she like Tsunade is a very good medical ninja. Now she looks young so she either must have been born much later than Tsunade or she uses medical jutsu to keep her looking young. Like I said this is really me thinking out loud but I would love to hear you opinions
