I kinda agree with you too but we all kinda saw Sakura going down the drain before. She only made herself more exciting like, when she fought Sasori. Everything before that, the only thing I remember from her is when she was with her team fighting Zabuza and even there she was kinda useless.

Damn dude you went all the way back to zabuza when they were kids haha yeah she was useless back then she was only good for putting out traps that's it.now that she is grown she has incredible strength and great medical technique thats pretty much it what I've seen so far I'm surprise she didn't learn any genjutsu I guess no one has tought her any

she was said to be a genjutsu type : no genjutsu
she has no nature afinity : picture her strenght when combined with earth style like a rock fist or a spike etc
medicle jutsu: how much more could she be doing with this i mean kabuto had med scalple that he cut peoples muscle and hearts up etc why cant she learn these things offensive med jutsu

I would have agreed if the author had made her interesting.

But she is not. She's just another Sasuke loving fangirl. The only difference between her and the rest is that Karin is completely out of her mind.

Maybe it would have helped if it was revealed that she was an Uzumaki a bit earlier, but that didn't happen. Now she's just another boring woman in Naruto. How I wish we had at least one other interesting female character other than Hinata. Oh, and Shima, she's awesome.
