Yes Karin does posses the same special chakra like Nagato and Kushina. Tobirama was immediately able to sense she was an uzumaki. Also mokuton is a Hashirama thing not a senju thing IMO.

I don't remember the manga mentioning Karin had the same chakra as Kushina nor Nagato, yes she is an Uzumaki but Kushina has unique chakra which is special even among the clan (too lazy to find the scan)

and the same goes for the chakra chains,, it's a Kushina thing not an Uzumaki thing... ​
