No other uzumaki that's not pure blood has red tomato hair. Whenever a full blood uzumaki is shown they have red tomato hair. Mito, kushina, and Karin is no exception. Unless orochimaru genetically engineered her to be an uzumaki (obvious lie is obvious). Durability is shown when she could survive getting a chidori in the chest by sasuke and it kind of comes from being an uzumaki the durability I mean. But unlike senju's (elite) uzumaki durability is more of an enhanced metahuman durability than superhuman durability. Unique chakra I will need a scan of as well because I don't recall that.

2). Uzumaki's have "very strong forces of life"..

• life force is defined as the force or influence that gives something its vitality or strength.
  
• vitality is defined as the power giving continuance of life, present in all living things.
  
• continuance is defined as the state of remaining in existence or operation.
  
• durability is defined as the ability to withstand wear, pressure, or damage.

So yes Karin is inherently durable based on the manga, Kabuto's account and Webster.
