Karin- can she actually fight???

iam sure iam not the only one who has been waiting for Karin to revel her fighting technique, i reli hoped she was gonna fight the eight tailed beast guy but then sasuke did, just like Ino, in the battle againsit those 2 akatsuki, ino says shell handel it, and i gt reli excited cz we gt to c Ino fighting the real deal ppl, bt then turn over nxt page, and shikamaru is fighting instead, can Karin even fight?

I think she may have some abilities for fighting like sakura has only strength in fights maybe karin will have genjutsu or somthing =|

Yeah that's all we've seen so far. Until she actually fights I'll say she's almost next to useless.

her ability is just to detect chakra.....(I guess..)but come to think of it.... sasuke(the author) wouldn't let her join the group if she can't fight...So probably..she can......

as I said before, Kishi are going way easy on the females In Naruto. The females in Naruto are some of the most annoying manga characters ever, yet they never seem to get a decent beat down. There's always someone who blocks or takes an attack for them, and usually during battles they're just staying passive. Tsunade relys too much on her subordinates.

yeah come to think of it the only proper girl fight in naruto was sakura vs sasori, but even ppl like kurenai, shes nt as gd as guy, kakashi and asuma, jst like tenten isnt as good as neji and lee, ino etc....

That's irrelevant. Let's not forget that Hokage is Tsunade atm...Karin must be able to do sth at battles, Sasuke wouldn't pick her otherwise

Well, obviously, if she's a ninja, she has some kind of combat ability.
But even more obvious is her lack of this combat ability.
She's a support/medical ninja, she doesn't really need to fight, she just needs to do her job/what she's best at, which is support and healing.
But I suppose if she were to get into a one on one battle, she would be able to handle herself to an extent, but she would be doomed if she were to battle a adept Jonin or even a high level Chunnin.

It's in the manga chapter 412.
Look at the spoilers, it shows Sasuke taking a bite out of Karins arm which has many bite marks on it already.
After Sasuke takes a bite, his wound begins to heal.

I doubt it, if that was the case, she would probably be VERY powerful.
Or maybe not because I'd imagine it'd be pretty hard in the Naruto world to go up to someone while your fighting them and bite them

she probly has a special kind of chakra, in her blood, but i just consider her more of a scout, think about it, when they first began "snake" she revealed to sasuke like everything he wanted to know, than when it comes to them laying-low, she's the one who lets them know like wat's headed their way (Chakra detection sense), maybe she can fight maybe she can't, but she still has her use as support as well a a scout.(Atleast in my point of view)
