it makes me wonder if Kishi originially wanted Sakura to go with Sasuke, and he wrote the manga to counteract that. however he changed his mind, and when he realized that he just created another sakura and that was karin.
Idk this just how i see things so please no flaming. if you spot anything differnt in their personalities or character please tell me. becuase honestly the same woman in two bodies.

I think Karin has the potential of having a very screwed up life. We don't know what happened to her parents, and it seems she became an Orochimaru experiment and actually showed incredible devotion to him. She may actually have some problems that haven't been explained.

Other than that, they are clones of each other.

Well Sakura is stronger; i mean she would defeat Karin.
We can also say that Karin is more unstable towards Sasuke.

we have never seen Karin fight so i wouldn't count her off for being weaker than sakura. for all we know she could have amazing taijutsu prowess, i mean she did keep c2 inmates bottled up for years, you can't be a pushover for that.

Karin first meets Sasuke in the forest of death. She was a genin from another village and was attacked by a giant bear. Then sasuke used shishi rendan or lion's barrage and ko'd the bear.

Yes but sakura fell in love with sasuke because of his looks before even getting to know him.. kinda making her a **** >_> whereas karin actually first met sasuke after he saved her which is when she fell in love win him = giving her an actual reason to love him

Sakura did not forgive him, she just can't hate him to the point she doesn't care about him anymore because she still loves him that doesn't mean she forgives him.

The only difference is that Sakura would win in a fight between the two and that she is actually somewhat bearable as a character haha

Well i thought Sakura is stronger according to feats.
Being unstable; well Karin is like "i hate you Sasuke"; then she goes, "omg Sasuke you are so cool"; it is always like this since Sasuke and Suigetsu went to that prison to get Karin.

Similar enough, I suppose. But Karin to me is more interesting. Her past is a mystery and who knows what Orochimaru did or had her do? I mean, wasn't she in charge of some base for him? Sakura just trained for the two-three years. . . Not really as interesting.

Personality. . Yeah, pretty close but Karin seems more like a less mature Sakura. Some one who doesn't let go of things (Sasuke) and grow up.

Problem with that theory is that Kishi never intended to create Sauske. He had already made Naruto and Sakura characters, but his editor said Naruto needed a rival and Sasuke was born. I can say that I agree Karin was created as a type of mirror to Sakura though, if anything a real version of Inner Sakura.
