I can see them reaching out to Boruto at some point soon. Kind of like how Orochimaru tempted Sasuke. It will be something Boruto dwells on and struggles with. Either he'll choose to train and hunt them down, or join them (as a spy perhaps?).

I also have a theory that Kara is connected to the Otsutsuki on the moon. Surely some of the stronger members were able to escape and these members ranging in age in the Kara group are what's left. If not all of them, the leader has to be the only remaining member of the clan on earth. It explains their weird meeting dimension (Otsutsukis can travel between worlds/dimensions), knowledge (apparently greater than Sasuke's in the matter of the clan.. which is odd considering his years of tracking and research.), and their seals. The reason why they haven't been around is because they were biding their time. Perhaps the famed insight aided the members in knowing when the right time to make a move would be?

Not really go rogue, that's Sasuke all over again. Maybe pull an Itachi without all the bloodshed, join Kara but only because if he doesn't he won't be able to control the seal and might die if he doesn't harness its powers. Dunno just a theory.

Nice to see clone has a "plot" going on for him. OP is utter fanfics, though. Post it in the right section. Clone's pretentious "plot" and "character devolopment" won't be for long though, just my 3 cents in this matter. He wants to be the shadow of the next Fire shadow, so Jougan + Otsutsuki isn't cutting the cheese.
