Kara as a group does seem to have unifying symbolism
Akatsuki was meant to be a group of monsters, I dont remember if there names had any significance to them
But kara makes are pulled from different cultures dont really have significance to them
Also the general shared theme of kara is they are technologically enhanced
They seen more like throw away villains shown by how expendable they are and doesnt seem too much thought went into there creation
Also we still don't know the basis why kara winners get picked I failed to see why isshiki would want to bring them into the fold of his plans
